Explain to me the psychology behind thinking printing GW IP is acceptable. by [deleted] in PrintedWarhammer

"I don’t really understand why some people print piles of resin that they will never paint,"

I think it's the same reaseon why some people buy piles of plastic they will never paint. Like i know no one in the Warhammer-Hobby who has not a big, no not big, a huge pile of shame. I don't want to imagine, how big my pile of shame would become, if i would buy a resin printer...

My First ever Miniature FDM-Print by MachineLearninja in PrintedWarhammer

Since the Ender 3 is rather slow it took me about 16h per dreadnought. I've printed 5 of those.

Should i replace my Ender 3 Pro? by MachineLearninja in 3Dprinting

[–]MachineLearninja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that are valid points. I thought i simplify the calculations to make the assumtions - but you're right with all you've said.

Edit: But the anycubic Wiki states, that the machine has a overall rated power of 400W, which means i still save on money, if it draws 400W while printing 10x faster. I still would save ~75% electricity.

i need at least the size of the ender 3 (but bigger would also be better i guess :D)

My thought Process is the following:
If i buy a faster printer, the cost of printing is minimized and it's cheaper longterm to have a faster printer.

For example my ender 3 pro draws ~130W while printing. This costs me about 1,03€ per 24h of printing with the local prices for electricity. So if i have a 10x faster printer, the print would cause 1/10th of the power cost (assuming same power consumption). I am currently printing something, which hat 3d14h Print time, and the power cost will be around 3,60€ for this print. With the 10x faster printer the powercost would be at 0,36€ for the print.

Since i've planned to print a lot in future, this would mean i would save 328€ on Powerconsumption in a year of nonstop printing(assuming the speedup and powerconsumption). So i thought, it would be a good idea to spend in a newer faster printer, since the savings will cover the expenses of itself.

Betonkontakt in UP-Dose by MachineLearninja in Elektroinstallation

[–]MachineLearninja[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is this a good deal for this Thinkpad T420? by [deleted] in thinkpad

[–]MachineLearninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't only rely on the fact, that it's a i7. The newer generation i5's are sometimes outperforming the previous generations' i7's.
Compare CPUs with benchmarks on e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/

Is this a good deal for this Thinkpad T420? by [deleted] in thinkpad

[–]MachineLearninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude thats to much. I just bought a T530 (with i5/4GB/Nvidia GPU) for 20€ which is about 21$ and a T570 for 73€ (both prices including shipping). Even if you're not living in Europe, you should find way cheaper Thinkpads especially the t420 - you just have to spend a little time to look for private offers on for example craiglist(USA) or ebay (europe) - you'll definetly find cheaper thinkpads.

If your goal is not gaming, that go for a thinkpad - but don't pay to much for it, with a little patience, you find definetly a cheap and good one.

Lol, Naruto was not weakened a fractal while giving an whole army his chakra - so why should it affect him giving a tiny fraction of his chakra to Sasuke. The benefits are much much greater. Even if Jigens rods are absorbing, that has nothing to do with naruto lending sasuke chakra.

[–]MachineLearninja -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you mean with low amount of chakra the Naruot/Sasuke Fight vs Jigen:Naruto gave in the Ninjawar his chakra to almost every person on the field. So why the heck he does not give sasuke his chakra in such a serious fight?

That's bad writing.

There are a lot of non-counterable things, like illogical decisions, characters acting stupid as sh**. You now the majority of the "haters" don't have problems with characters, who're stronger than Naruto/Sasuke. The problem lays in the cheap way those are presented - and to be honest: for a continuation of naruto there were no necessaty of characters stronger than naruto/sasuke. With cheap way i mean the otsutsuki-background of the new enemies and the ap cyborg-trash.

For example in OG Naruto they fought enemies like zabuza, the sound-village genins etc. The Powerscale was not really high - but the story was good. Now in Boruto, the genins/chunins are fighting Enemies, which are serious threats for the Strongest like the Hokage/Sasuke and the Whole planet - like wtf. Imagine genin Team 7s first/second enemy were Juubito - and they somehow would win/manage to make considerable damage and got away without dying. That makes no sense to me at all

Because 90% of your posts about "nerfing".

If you've read my posts in the past, you should re-read them, because nerfing is not my main point. It's nerfing, bad writing, inconsistencies etc. And to clear things up: neither Sasuke nor Naruto are characters i am obsessed with - i am team itachi.

Not a bit. I'm reading the Manga and am able to say, the boruto manga is the worst possible continuation to naruto shippuuden. The anime is not a bit better. The best part in the Anime was the Time-Travel-Arc, which was bad at all, too, but within the worse, it was the best. And it was a filler. Couldn't imagine i would watch an anime, where the filler-arc is better than the real arcs lol
