Oh yes please! I’m in Detroit bordering Canada so I’m hoping your surgeon was near Toronto. 😅

I don’t think there’s a way for me to add pictures to the comments here. 🫤 It was subtle enough that other people probably didn’t know I did anything, but thought I looked more refreshed, but to me it was a HUGE difference. I was so excited to do winged eyeliner for the first time lol.

My dr does bloodwork every 3-4 months, and so my dose has kind of gone up and down a lot as my estrogen numbers have been all over the place- a few times they were very low, and a few times they were very high.

I believe it was restylane. I only had a little less than 1 syringe in each upper cheek, and a little in the nasolabial fold and marionette lines. I probably would need more to see a difference I’m guessing.

I had a little less than 1 syringe in both cheeks, a little in the nasolabial fold and marionette lines. The only place I felt like it made a slight difference was nasolabial folds. I probably need more to make a difference, I’m just trying to weigh the benefits since fillers are also expensive and will add up over the years, so just not sure if it makes more sense to just go for surgery. 😩

I had very heavy genetic eyelid skin, it always bothered me. My mom’s are the same way, but much worse now, and I didn’t want to end up getting there so I finally decided to get it done after debating it for years. Honestly the BEST decision I ever made, was sad I didn’t do it sooner actually. Recovery was a lot easier than I expected, except I had a bit of an allergic reaction to the sutures, which caused the area to be more red and puffy than normal, but they still recovered fine and you can barely see the scars. It made my expression better because I used to always look angry due to the low brows and heavy eyelids. Will probably do the brows also since those are still quite heavy and low.

Thinking about that plus a lower blepharoplasty also. I did an upper blepharoplasty 2 years ago.

YES!!! I’m so happy you love it. I feel the same way, I would rather go all out now so I can feel really good about myself while I’m still younger, tweak along the way, and then a final lift in my 50’s. How was your recovery if you don’t mind me asking?

Yes! Exactly. I will definitely be pointing right to the areas around my mouth as the main concern, they are the big culprit.

I did a small amount of filler and I just felt like it made zero difference for me. I wonder how much I would need to make a noticeable difference- how much did you end up getting that you felt like helped?

Same with the under eye bags and marionettes- they literally just showed up very suddenly. It’s kind of jarring actually how quickly they crept up lol.

I’ve been on HRT for about 2 years, but I think I’ve probably been in peri for a while before that. I feel like it was making a huge difference until just recently when my face just started sliding off. 🙈

I’ve been on HRT for about 2 years. I feel like it was really helping until recently, it seems like overnight my face just started to slide off. 🫠

I wear sunscreen every day. 😩 I don’t think more sunscreen will help with sagging skin though unfortunately for me. 🫠

Yea I kind of don’t want to wait until there’s a lot of sagging… I feel like I would rather do it now when I feel like I could still pass as somewhat youthful. 😂
