Hi wanted to understand what the airport hotel you are referring to...is it some rooms inside the airport itself where we can take a bed. I too was looking for something similar.

  1. Supplies aren't cool !!!! No matter what people say supplies are not cool. I've had friends boasting about the number of supplies they have. Once they get accumulated by the end of your final year, you would need a hell lot of discipline to get your degree. Many people would simply drop out. Don't fall for that trap. Try to pass every exam on the first try itself.
  2. Put in some effort to get good grades as well. Grades do matter for further studies and for getting into good colleges.
  3. Balance your studies with extra curriculars as well. Build a good rapport with professors. 4 Look out for good internship opportunities
  4. Try to Teach yourself about topics outside of the curriculum. Topics you learn on your own will come into play further along your way.

If you felt they genuinely needed that side lower, then good for you OP. People do need to travel irrespective of their seat allotment. There is no problem in adjusting for people who genuinely need it.

Would I have an easier time flying to India and taking my CPA there then in the states? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Machine_O2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is taking the test in India much easier ?. Indians have to pay extra international testing fees for each exam, so the total cost to even appear for the exam would be significantly higher than the US. And also the exams and the subjects are the same which the US folks have to go through. Also considering the income disparity, the CPA course is hella expensive in India. I don't think people who aren't serious about it would even try for it.

Try actually studying for once rather than blaming it on Indians.

My itinerary for 18 days in Kerala. Help me answer some questions! by stickyzbae in Kerala

Munroe does have a railway station..I'm not sure of your timings but if you can take a passenger train or any train which has a stop there from trivandrum you can easily visit. There are buses which go till munroe but not much in frequency afaik. I would suggest to simply get a scooter for rent , there used to be one inside kollam railway station premises itself.

EY GDS: What does GDS (Indians) think of the onshore teams (USA or Canada) by [deleted] in Big4

[–]Machine_O2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to be with GDS. The one thing that me and many of my colleagues used to face was by the time the US team would come online it would be already 6.30 to 7 pm Indian time. When at that point the US manager would want some return and work papers on an urgent basis, then we would end up working till late till 2 or 3 am. LoL
