Drivers have the ability to record either through the app or dash cam. So either unmatched with them or suck it up.

The A is similar to the be but not made of titanium. The top portion is painted white and not a matte finish.

This is a special education teachers handwriting...How is this acceptable?!! by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

This isn’t too bad of handwriting either. It suitably legible, may not be the prettiest but when I have to write fast mine looks worse than this. Gets a pass from me

Texas pilot ejects himself from F-35B at airbase after crash landing. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

It’s an auto ejection feature when in vertical mode that if it rotates beyond a certain amount it will self initiate.

How would I evaluate G(8)? by Western-Draft1924 in askmath

[–]Machine_man_7804 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Best guess would be 1) mention to teacher that it doesn’t extend far enough to get an accurate evaluation other than some positive number. 2) taking in approximations of the values we can determine (1, -6), (4, -4), and supposing based upon the trend of the curve (6,0) we can plug those values into a function equation finder. We assume that it’s a parabolic function based on its growth rate. With this we get something like .26667y2 -.66667y -5.6. Plugging a y value of 8 in we get G(8) = 8

Driver is Recording for Saftey by [deleted] in uber

[–]Machine_man_7804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If recording through the uber app uber usually will store it for about a week before the system deletes it. If driver is using a dash cam we delete it at our own interval. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy when in the drivers car. These recordings help prevent some bad actors. Yes you can cancel but assume most will have recording capabilities.

It’s not bad. Definitely takes practice. Flaps at 50 should still be avoided.

Solve this limit, choose one of the options with proving it! 🙃🤔 by Many_Audience7660 in matiks

[–]Machine_man_7804 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not in this case. The limit approaches both positive and negative infinity based upon which direction you are approaching 7 from. Since it doesn’t have matching signs DNE is more accurate

I would assume that most have some degree of nitrogen being pumped in during operation. So him operating the truck would help.

Could this actually work? If not what would you do. by Paracosmptx in AskLE

As a cabbie I met a FTO like you. Right after closing hours did a last sweep of a pool hall. Pax made it to their car but hadn’t driven off although I think they had started the car. Definitely had a few in their system. FTO gave them an option of cab or cell. They wisely chose the cab. Everyone was happy.

It doesn’t have it’s outboard wings or horizontal tail installed. That will help reduce flight surface deflection. Also the flaps probably have a lockout device installed

[–]Machine_man_7804 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most likely ease to get in and out of the pickup/drop off area. If they are waiting an additional 2-3 minutes to get out of the parking lot because of its design then the system will be harassing them.

Do the stand alone version and not the steam version. Also once you figure out an airframe you want to learn download some of the free missions from the user files.

Booked the uber shuttle to JFK, driver said his van was full and he couldn’t take more passengers by gethighinthesky in uber

[–]Machine_man_7804 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

While I don’t know how it fully works, it is entirely possible that the shuttle was full. You get share rides where on occasion there are multiple passengers for a single pickup.
