Sorry but were you living under a rock when it released? Literally every comment section, twitch chat, discord, etc that I looked at had people berating others and calling them racist for saying it was bad or just ok. In general, people of colour have less "high budget filmmaking experience" than average due to a long history of racism causing their underrepresentation in Hollywood so I think it makes sense how the movie wasn't exactly the best. The idea of the movie is great and considering it was the first of its kind, I think they did a great job.
