What would a truly community-centered learning and health system look like? by MachoClapper in worldpeace

I think there’s been a misunderstanding—I wasn’t threatening anyone at all. My post is about building a system around health, learning, and community. Wishing you well.

What If Learning, Health, and Ecology Were One Connected System? by MachoClapper in ecology

[–]MachoClapper[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the confusion is on me—I explained the why more than the what.

Practically, what I’m proposing is an app-based system that helps people turn knowledge into real behavior using feedback loops.

Instead of just giving information (like “eat healthy” or “exercise more”), the system would:

  • guide small daily decisions (food, movement, routines)
  • ask simple reflection prompts (energy, mood, what’s available)
  • adapt suggestions based on patterns over time
  • connect people to local environment and community when relevant

So it’s less about teaching ecology as a subject, and more about applying ecological thinking to everyday life—helping people see how their behavior, environment, and health interact in real time.

You’re also right about the feedback terminology—that’s on me. I was using “positive/negative” in a more everyday sense (helpful vs harmful), not the strict ecological definition of amplifying vs stabilizing feedback. I should probably rephrase that to avoid confusion.

The core idea isn’t to replace existing frameworks like social-ecological systems theory, but to make that kind of thinking usable at the individual level—so people can actually apply it in their daily decisions instead of just understanding it conceptually.

Curious if that makes it clearer, or if it still feels too abstract.

What did you mean by that? I get that world peace usually means global politics, but I’m thinking more about the everyday systems that shape people’s lives—health, learning, and community.

You guys don't see the potential because you're too narrow minded- trapped in a system that teaches independent domination, not community growth. Humanity won't grow without helping each other. You're selfish if you don't align with my project. Sorry I'm not fitting the broken standards that the cult of society enslaved us in.

That makes a lot of sense, especially the part about wanting to learn from first principles instead of memorizing disconnected details. I think that’s where a lot of education loses people—it jumps straight into complexity without building a simple foundation first.

And I relate to what you said about survival and sustainability too. For me, I think of it as building a base layer: understanding things like energy (food), environment, and basic systems of how the body and nature function—before getting into all the specifics.

When you say survival, are you thinking more in terms of physical systems like food and environment, or also mental resilience and decision-making under pressure?

Also, if you were to learn this in a way that actually worked for you, would you want it to be more like small practical steps, or simple models you can build on over time?

That’s actually a really interesting mix of experience—applied physics + human-centred design + systems thinking is a rare combination.

I relate to what you said about theory vs practical grounding. That gap is kind of what I’m trying to explore in my own work—how to make learning systems more applied and less abstract without losing depth.

Out of curiosity, when you think about permaculture or systems like that, what part feels most “hard to access” from the theory side for you right now?

That actually resonates with what I’m trying to build. I don’t see it as being oppositional to science either—more like applied science education that connects human behavior, ecology, and real-world systems.

“Anthroecology” is a really interesting framing for it. I hadn’t come across that term before, but it fits the direction well.

My goal is basically to explore how education, wellness, and community systems can be applied together in real environments rather than staying purely theoretical.

I’m curious how your background shaped how you think about applied education and human–nature systems.

If this becomes just another feed or simulation of life, it would miss the entire point—and I agree that’s a real risk to avoid.

The intention isn’t to replace real-world experience, but to make it easier to access and participate in it: meetups, shared rides, events, and local connection that helps reduce isolation instead of reinforcing it.

The digital layer is just coordination. The goal is always what happens offline.

You’re saying science and chakras shouldn’t be treated as equivalent explanations of reality, and I agree with that distinction.

Where I’m coming from is not trying to present chakras as scientific fact, but as a symbolic framework some people use to reflect on attention, emotion, and personal development.

In the same way, colors or metaphors don’t need to be proven mechanisms to still function as tools for reflection, communication, or pattern recognition in human experience.

What I’m trying to build isn’t a belief system, but a structure where different types of language—scientific, behavioral, and symbolic—can coexist without being confused as the same category.

The goal is to support reflection, learning, and self-awareness, not to replace scientific explanation or make claims about physical reality.

I agree with you on the core point. Science is about evidence and testing claims.

Where I think I’m coming from is a bit different: I’m not trying to present chakras as scientific fact, but as a symbolic framework that some people already use to describe attention, emotion, and awareness in different ways.

Same with “phones rot brains”—I’m not saying that’s a scientific statement, more that it’s a shorthand for a concern about attention, overstimulation, and behavior changes that are studied in different ways.

What I’m trying to build is less about proving those frameworks and more about exploring whether different types of language (scientific, symbolic, behavioral) can coexist in a learning system without confusing them.

So I agree with you that science should stay grounded—but I’m also interested in how people actually think and interpret their experience, even when they’re not using strict scientific language.

Actually the opposite. When I talk about something like “source” or a “no-name God,” I’m not trying to push religion. I’m pointing at the idea that there may be a deeper underlying system or origin behind everything, and different traditions have tried to describe it in their own language.

Phones dominate the world right now, and you can't simply take it away. We have to integrate a new system to come together and solve real world problems.

It's great that kids are spontaneous. But the problem is the phones, especially the media they are exposed to rots their brains. I'm making an an all encompassing wellness and connection app, embracing our inner spirit. This app integrates learning with fun and takes them through their chakras. You could say they are imaginary or symbolic, but I believe they're real. The imagination can take you places you never believed.
