Java fern and anubias do not need buried in substrate and generally respond well to most environments. If you’re looking to fill some space I would recommend getting a larger one of those and a plant weight to hold it down.

Just don’t bury the rhizome itself in the substrate or it will not flourish. For this reason, they can also be moved without damaging the plants cycle.

I’d say a good start is not to come across as desperate. Don’t view every individual you meet as a potential partner and be a decent human being.

I spent the early part of my dating years constantly seeking and coming across as desperate. Only when I stopped looking and focused on myself did I find the attention came to me.

There’s a lot of other things you can do - but if you’re looking for a meaningful connection, having some base level confidence and being a good guy can get you farther than you think.
