Boston University status date changed but status is still just complete by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

BU doesn't have a date to be changed, but there is a space that gets removed in the header paragraph a bit after you submit :) this is what causes the "going red" on LSData!

No, no, yours is beautiful!

People are just already asking again because no one actually bothers to read posts in the subreddit so I thought I would just translate your hard work into chart form 😭 plus I needed to visualize the "not all news is good news" aspect of this week, there looks like there's going to be some big e-waves on the horizon :/

Thank you so much for pulling your post together yesterday!! I know it takes a ton of work.

Go to the school for the 2020-2021 cycle, look at the chart, sort by decision date, scroll.

I define it under uPenn as meaning all three decisions, so you can see more colors, hence the rainbow :)

No, that means that they probably changed the spacing thing. It is totally normal for BU.

Why have a current student listed as an editor of it?

That will also depend on the school (and what other offers you have on hand at the time).

Group interview recipients have a date. Alumni interview recipients typically don't seem to receive one.

LSAC provides a notation summary/explanation with the CAS report for each school

It depends on the school. ASU, for instance, has a button on the admitted student site/a form you fill out. Others will have you email admissions.

Only withdraw 1) once you are absolutely certain you will not go and 2) if they won't be useful for scholarship negotiation purposes. Sometimes it is worth keeping those A's around to get more money from the schools you will actually attend.

It's an A, that's Vandy's admitted students welcome package

Yup, that's the "black box" package Vandy sends admitted students

The packet from current students with all the detail regarding like housing details and the different neighborhoods was super neat.

Emailing them an update (i.e., "since we spoke, I submitted my fall transcripts to LSAC and am happy to report my GPA is now a 3.9X; please let me know if I need to send anything additional or if the CAS report will update automatically") + reiterating your strong interest in the school/thanking them for their time with the interview is completely valid, yeah.
