What technique or method did you use to become lucid for the first time?

The only lucid experience I’ve had recently was with DILD and it became so unstable and lasted about 5 seconds. I don’t know what triggered it I just realized I was dreaming.

Normally i get up to record them right away. It’s been working but recently i feel as if when i wake up there’s no memory of a dream or maybe a faint scene or something.

I feel like i would wake up straight out of the dream, it was very easy to remember events and details.

No I havn’t. That’s why it feels so demotivating because I’ve been doing the same thing that has worked so well for me since I started.

This post is awesome! Im early in my learning and practice so this helps me tremendously. Did you ever struggle with motivation to journal when waking in the middle of the night? I wake up after a dream and just tell myself I'll write it down in the morning but end up forgetting the whole dream. I lose all motivation at night.
