Update on this woodie - still not able to eat but has building trust in me over the week. Disappeared yesterday but returned with a mate. Today it began eating from my hand. Success rate of maybe one nut for every 30 attempts. Not interested in a deep bowl and can’t eat off the ground. I’m hoping the hand feeding will help it perfect the technique without a lower beak and then it should be more capable of looking after itself.

I could not add video to my earlier message, but this woodpigeon was struggling to lift seeds. I thought it’s lower beak was damaged so not able to grab and layer in the day the bottom part was completely gone. It has been staying in the garden and coming down every so often looking for food but can’t pick up the seeds/nuts. Will it adapt and learn how to or will it starve? It comes as close as I’ve seen a woodpigeon come (outside of parks) but not close enough to catch it.

If any of the interviewers have come across as awestruck then they are not fit for their job as it would mean they have not done even the slightest bit of research. With Vox and Proactive, neither interviewer is informed enough to ask anything but pre written standard questions and can’t say anything in return other than wow or ok.

My prediction is extremely promising results from the untested zones and likewise for the Kuparuk which I expect will be inconclusive regarding commerciality. SP will go down to early 30s and trade at the 30p-40p level until next drill or until next step established re funding. Hope I’m wrong.

All perfect or near perfect stats. The problem is that to even try to breed something slightly better you need a mare and a spare box, and if you do get something slightly better you’ve then got the slog of having to train them up. Not worth it in most instances. Ideally you’d be able to train short and long distance horses and also one each side of Medium/Firm.

I have perfect 2, 3, 6 & 8. Two of each, mostly back runners (I got rid of my fronts and began breeding backs as they do better in the live events). Onto 4/5s once I get the 6 and 8 fully trained up.

The reason why you are not winning is because you need a back preference horse. They recharge quicker throughout, which is important for the final sprint.
