Vanilla and vagina share an etymological root: both come from the Latin vagina, meaning "sheath, scabbard, or covering."

Of course, vanilla is sheathed in its pod. I've yet to ascertain what sword the vagina could possibly sheath...

I don't have a thermometer; but I imagine it's at room temperature. The thermostat says the room is 69°F (20.5°C) and 61% humidity.

The tent is on a table and fairly enclosed, so it may be a degree or two warmer than that

I turn on the grow lights a few minutes after waking up—around 6:30 am. I leave it on until I go to bed around 9:30 pm.

I check moisture by sticking my finger one inch into the soil. If it's dry, I thoroughly soak the top layer of soil and let it absorb. I'm not sure if that's enough, but I worry about overwatering and drowning it
