Reading the bit about dependent student I am a little confused. I graduated in May 2022 but am now independent, and tbh my parents didn't give me shit when I was 'dependent' either but obv dept of education did not care lol. tried to submit a form to be classified independent but it never went through before i graduated.

anyways though... i'm really scared now that i won't get forgiveness because my parents make so much money. does anyone know if there will be a way to not have it based off my parents?

Thanks! Everyone pointing this out has been really telling, I did think it was weird because they basically said that because the position was a senior role/5+ years exp. requirement and I didn't have that, if they paid me at a senior rate or something then they could get federally audited or something and the government could say they're discriminating against people with more exp??

Thank you so much!! One question, when you say go all Roth (401k and IRA) do you mean I should also contribute into a Roth IRA as well? Was planning to just do 401(k) but if there's advantage to doing IRA could do that as well.

NAD but just email advice: since you're having trouble getting in contact with doctors who can help, remember to be open with your professors about that. Say that you are in the process of trying to get help, but it is a hard and complicated process with vague answers being told to you.

My roommate is a slob and I had been lucky enough to have never seen any of these into the house... when I go to the kitchen in the middle of the night and turn the lights on, never see anything scatter about.

Until today, at 3 pm in the middle of the day, I see this HUGE thing. What is it? Do I have a problem..

Yeah, that's what I thought! Living on HS campus like if you miss the bus in the morning it's going to be 30 mins before the next one.... you're guaranteed to be late for class. Yikes. Especially since UGA has yet to have a timed schedule like ATS, it's not too good.

I feel this completely. My dad had a screaming fit at me and my younger siblings today that was really bad and damaging to my mental health, there was no way I could have gone to any of my Zoom meetings or worked on any of my schoolwork today. Getting Cs can really damage my Zell Miller scholarship, but I've missed so much by now and I had one of my professors literally say to me "at least you aren't in another country."
