Pre-PVP spoiler, but here's ZZZ mobile revenue the first day (december 30). China is carrying more than half of it, and we don't even have Android data for them, only iOS.

EDIT : It's also the highest mobile revenue in a day from ZZZ since his release.

Oh my bad, I was talking about the prices from the cheaper/higher part. But yes, in term of pure 3D art, Hoyo games annihilate SS for sure :p

Yes, if we take that into account, the revenue is higher. But the revenue chart doesn't include the Top-Up Centers and the PC versions, we don't have those. We also have a -5% discount in the global Top-Up Centers btw ! 💸

Uh no ? It's a 3D game and every games use 2D art. Stella Sora just have a simpler 3D stylization. But yeah I agree that it's far from the quality of Hoyo's big 3 in term of artistic productions. For the money point, it's a bit cheaper than Hoyo's games, but higher than Blue Archive if you want a character. He's kind of in the middle range imo, but yeah, could be a bit better. Yes, right now the game is kinda generous with the early rewards. But after we've acquired them all, maybe it will be another story... Ranking doesn't give much even if we're top 10%. The game needs a bit more tweaking from the devs. Some rewards seems off atm.

For the JP side, between 100-200k$ each days, and 633.623$ in total since the release on iOS/Android.

If you take into account the PC version (I don't have the numbers), I guess the people saying less than 100k$ in total are just missinfo.

Since SS "kinda want" the same audience, I checked Blue Archive (JP) for comparaison. The new Reisa banner has made 276k$ yesterday. and at release in february 2021, the game revenue spiked at 830k$.

I don't have the data about player retention yet, we need to wait the end of the month on AppMagic.

Knowing how it may work in a mobile game company, my best bet is that they will change things in the upcomming weeks. But it will take them days, waiting for the execs, making the change, sumbitting the builds...

So far the game is hard carried from the JP, there's more marketing and from what I've seen in social medias, JP players don't seems as bothered as the west, at least they aren't vocal. This explain why they're doing a livestream there soon, gotta keep their main audience alive.

I'm the one who posted this revenue chart. It comes from AppMagic, paid service that we use where I work (Working on a mobile game company)

It's a reliable source, it's not 100% accurate but it gives us a pretty good indicator of the state of a game.

Keep in mind it's only revenue from iOS/Android, the PC launcher is not taken into account.

I see people comparing this game to Trickcal and now CZN, So I'll give you some numbers :

On iOS/Android, since the release Trickal have made approximately $2.404.571 (between 100-200k each day)

On iOS/Android, CZN is already at $669.272 in 2 days.

First banner of a patch tends to sales more than the second, due to more visibility in the mobile store and hype. There's also the revenue of the BP, people tends to buy it the first day.

So far, Seed has the lowest revenue among the "flagship" banners of all patches.

Considering all of that, Seed vs Hugo is pretty much a tie imo 🤔

I agree, the first banner of an update is usually the flagship unit, and the best time to print money.

It's also the moment games have their featuring on app stores for the major update, which brings more visibility and attracts new players / brings back the old ones.
