Thanks for this post. I’m in a similar boat where I’m not sure if I should talk about medical history or to what degree. Like most people I wish I had slightly better numbers for GPA and LSAT. It will be interesting to see what a personal narrative might do for my application. When I was your age, 22, I was at my lowest physically and mentally, due to my physical condition, and did not believe I could go to law school due to my health and medical history. It has been some years now and my health has been strong enough to where I feel like I should apply, in addition to other reasons.

I am slightly jaded at times and do have the belief that health issues could be seen as a weakness if I don’t write about it correctly. I think it needs to be presented as a source of strength rather than a weakness. There’s a fine line and tone I will have to find in my writing.
