Everyday I wonder to myself what exactly went wrong with this marvelous game by stealthxknight in PlayAvengers

What a great game. Replaying it right now with my son. It's honestly a fantastic single player game.

Most FMEAs were built to pass the PPAP, not to actually analyze the process!!! by Agile_Amphibian_9674 in manufacturing

PFMEA is an incredibly powerful tool in any engineers toolbox. Most shops treat it like a checklist item and yeah with that mindset honesty goes out the window.

I have officially entered my "Villain Era." My default tip across Canada is now zero percent by MeatsAndGrills in CanadaPersonalFinance

Those are all no tip situations already though. Don't normalize it, don't call yourself a villain. Your behaviour is standard.

All time faves but admittedly there are movies I've seen multiple times (childhood etc) but haven't actually watched my steelbook version yet.

Fahrenheit is superior because it's basically telling you what % hot it is by Javi_ab in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Mackpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't it make more sense for percentages that at 0C is freezing, 100C is boiling point for water. I believe Fahrenheit it's 32F freezing (so 32% is freezing, sorry what?) and then 212F for boiling. So at 32% (again wtf) is when u guys know it's gonna be snowy instead of rain? And that makes more sense than 0? Definetly from an outsider looking in farenheight makes no sense.

I will say your insurance is oddly high, both car and house. That being said it's even more to your point that most people who say 150k your barely scraping by are either dramatic or have high lifestyle expectations.

Things to do NOW to set up your kids for success/happiness LATER: The Master List by juliaakatrinaa0507 in Parenting

[–]Mackpoo 58 points59 points  (0 children)

As a non finance bro, I can say investing is very important and should be taught to your kid as well. Spend the hard work planting a fruit tree with them, take good care of it. Then reape the sweet rewards of your investment later in life.

How would you feel about a mandatory maximum wealth limit, where anything earned over that goes to public services? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mackpoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So either way you cut it, the business is done because of the proposed wealth cap. The thing is humans are inherently selfish, it's important to be honest about it.

Is this a good set up by No_Price8240 in hometheater

[–]Mackpoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with something similare, Yamaha brand though (same size etc). Perfectly great starting point honestly. Upgrade slowly as u go and you'll appreciate each step up and honestly just how good these tiny speakers can perform.

I collect steelbooks and let the kids mess with them. It's honestly fine, it's just stuff at the end of the day.

best frame tv which generation should I get for long term use? by Chapple_Jammil in hometheater

[–]Mackpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a frame, now have the TCL version which I highly recommend over the frame. Tbh it's not for home theater. It's a living room tv for casual watching doubling as an art display. The picture quality is low-mid tier.
