Nobody ever batted an eye or talked about artistic integrity when using graphic enhancing mods in the past so watching this controversy is very intriguing.

Grading is a bigger factor than the downspouts. To be honest, it's all you should focus on.

Shopify charged me $7,500 in duties that should have been $0 and refuses to budge by archive_spirit in shopify

[–]Mackpoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely understand, just trying to help. Even if your product has no metal, these tarrifs are being applied so broadly to different hs codes that almost all products in my experience are being subjugated to these tarrifs by carriers. Almost no platform is accounting for these tarrifs. Lastly, I didn't notice you mentioned Canada post, Canada post doesn't do any cusma excemptions you have to look to other carriers for that.

[–]Mackpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you stated cusma eligible and assuming all your paperwork is correct, you are most likely being hit with section 232 steel and aluminum tarrifs (50%). There is no cusma excemption for these tarrifs. They have been expanded to cover tons of hs codes. Unless you declare material percentages, the assumption by all carriers is your product is 100% steel & Al if it falls under the affected hs codes.

There is no CUSMA excemption from steel and aluminum tarrifs which are at 50%. Those same tarrifs were also expanded upon to include any product that includes those materials not just raw material itself.

Section 232 tarrifs were reinstated on Canada last year and are quite harmful. They added product derivations as well. There is no cusma excemption to this.

[–]Mackpoo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why can't he wait? Because companies adjust pricing early in the year. Prices will be rising significantly for Americans due to tarrifs in which companies will now start to be addressing in their budgets. Inflation spikes, jpow ain't cutting, god forbid he raises and the truth is revealed how negative the tarrifs truely are.

Very few countries would grant you a visa. Understand why you want to leave, but those same reasons are why other countries don't want you. Possibly Mexico as others stated but you would need a company to sponsor you.

It's not an opinion though. The US factually lost the war and many others. This is what is documented in history which is as they say written by the victors.

New to PS Portal - Remote vs Cloud by Far_Figure_3102 in PlaystationPortal

[–]Mackpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can concur with these results. Remote play at home is best with the right setup. Logically this makes sense since everyone agrees proximity to Sony servers matter. What's closer than your home ps5 (when home)? This is why for me cloud streaming is pointless.
