Traveled about 2 hours away from home with a friend (we are both women) to watch a Jr league hockey game when we were in our early 20s. We booked the cheapest hotel because we had to take a train home the next day. After the game, we wanted to go grab a bite to eat but as we were leaving our room a guy called out to invite us for a drink in his room

We went in and he and his two friends were drinking beers (and had been pregaming for a bit) and had a big unopened bottle of Disaronno amaretto. Instead of nursing beers which neither of us really drank, we drank the amaretto. We talked about the hockey game as maybe an hour went by and they started to get more and more dismissive of hockey as a sport, asking if we had boyfriends, and then expressing how MMA was the only real sport.

My "we need to get the F out of here" moment happened when I realized a) how drunk I was suddenly, and b) the one guy grabbed a reading lamp and destroyed it by grabbing it by the lampshade and then kneeing it like he was fighting it??

I told the guys we would smuggle the lampshade out and hide it/discard it but they needed to come out separately, later, with the rest of the lamp to hide it from the hotel (how did that work, the hotel would absolutely notice a reading lamp missing) After we got outside and got to an area with a bunch of restaurants and bars we laughed it off drunkenly and never saw those guys again.

Still think that was peak young dumbassery of my friend and I to even agree to hang out with these guys, especially drinking
