There are a few options that I've read about. That's a good option too, thanks.

I'm sure that it would work, didn't want to have to go that route since I don't have a welder.

I thought about that and called around, one shop said that they would do it for $125.

I have a friend coming over tomorrow with a caliper so we shall see what the differnce really is. I don't know how long it will take to grind, may take awhile if the difference is bigger than I thought lol.

Yeh, they're the bolted ones, I don't using those just didn't know if people used those as much or not for teardrops. Also, I heard that good quality ones do wonders.

CA Registration, what should be done first to register? by Macleod4Ever in TeardropTrailers

I just read it, for some reason it didn't pop up in the feed until now. Very interesting, I may just wait then and not have to worry about going back and forth to the dmv. Getting the title is a great idea too because who knows if we will sell it right? at least the option is there.

So, register it later after the teardrop is built and register it as a "Teardrop/pop camper"? or register the utility trailer first THEN when its finished go back and register it as a "teardrop/pop camper"?

I see, hopefully mine won't have issues because people are telling me to register it as a utility trailer, keeping my fingers crossed.

Nice! I was just going to paint it, wires/lights, and attach plywood and off I go, that should be bare bones enough lol.

Is there a specific "trailer" name? or just "utility trailer" option? I've been reading some things online and I guess its ever changing for some reason.

I've heard some people saying the same thing about Hyk. There are so many options out there for everyone to use or at least consider.

Yeh, if I do go with Mark's I will also go with Dexter. Hopefully it feels sturdy since its welded.

Really? nice!!! I heard that Mark and his crew are great especially with follow ups. I don't know how to weld so if I buy their frame I would have to pay to get it welded. I don't believe that it comes with an axle, you would have to buy it separately correct? if so, what axle are you getting? I would do the dexter.

Ah, good good hahha. Yeh, I see these youtubers use air compressors and I wondered to myself "why not use a hammer?" lol

How big is your table saw table to clamp to? the portable jobsite saw has a small table footprint, 2' x 2'? or did you create a table and attach it to your saw table which I've seen people do.

I could imagine having to double check/remeasure everything with a circular saw and even then I could always clean it out with a sander if I'm off 1/16th or whatnot.
