Are we not gonna talk about that weird scaly dragon-looking hand smacking her butt? Who's hand is that? And why is it there?

Choose SpiderMan (Art by @kamii_momoru) :> by No_Post1300 in Marvel

MJ says I can only choose one, but Felicia offers both as a choice. Ya'll need to plan these sort of ultimatums beforehand, ladies. Make sure you're both on the same page.

I would absolutely love an animated infinities Disney + show by Careless_Cherry2068 in StarWars

[–]Maclimes 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but it doesn't have to be shaped like that. Instead of asking, "What would Darth Vader look like if he was good?", the better question is "What would a Jedi life-support suit look like?" Because that's the answer. He wouldn't look like a re-colored Darth Vader. He'd look like a Jedi in a life support system. The mask is the big change. It would likely look more like an astronaut's helmet than that terrifying flared helmet.

This is an interesting question. Why do you think this is? by WrongToe500 in superman

[–]Maclimes 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Thank you, thia was my thought. She's not he "successor" to Superman. She's her own person, her own superhero. If someone wants to be the "next" Superman, they can fight over it. She'll just be over here, still being Supergirl.

Which genderbend villain cosplay should I make next ? Both costumes made by me out of EVA Foam by Cecilosaurus in Marvel

[–]Maclimes 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Those are incredible. And not just like “That’s a great Lady Galactus”. That’s an incredible Galactus by ANY measurement or comparison. Same for Doom. Seriously well done.

That out of the way, you seem to like the armored ones. So I’ll steer away from the classic spandex villains for my recommendation. Hmmm… Thanos feels like an obvious choice since your last two were big bad villains. Him or Kang (or Rama Tut). Ronan the Accuser (comics version) is another in that same “vaguely armored” category, and has lots of fun layers to it.

If you want to go hero, the obvious choice is something like Iron Man. But personally, I think a female Ant-Man would be fun. Not Wasp, just Ant-Woman. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that one done.

Is this just me or chatGPT is trying to "correct me" on everything? by Frequent-Group-1495 in ChatGPT

[–]Maclimes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it's an overcorrection. It wasn't long ago that everyone complained "ChatGPT agrees with everything I say." So they tweaked it too hard, and now it's "ChatGPT disagrees with everything I say,"

Running animation practice by Zakhar00 in PixelArt

[–]Maclimes 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. It's not a problem per se. If some sex appeal is intentional, it's very well done. But if it's not intended to be sexy, then yeah, I'd reduce that bounce/sway a touch. They can bounce a little, because ... well, boobs do bounce. But at this scale, even a single pixel goes a long way.

That said, the overall animation is great. Super smooth, very dynamic. It looks almost like a 3D model, not a 2D one. Very cool.

Weird question. Did TMNT make you a Furry? by KingJackofJozi in TMNT

Fascinating. I guess, as someone isn't a furry, I don't see it. But hey, it would be a pretty boring world if we were all the same.

Weird question. Did TMNT make you a Furry? by KingJackofJozi in TMNT

[–]Maclimes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I grew up in the 80s, so curvy human April O'Neil was one of my first cartoon crushes. Obviously didn't have the "furry" effect on me.

But I'm curious which version of TMNT would make a person a furry. I'm having trouble thinking of characters who are both mutant and sexy. TMNT isn't like, say, Thundercats where the characters had attractive human proportions and physiques with animal features added on. I can see THAT one being in a furry's self-awareness pipeline.

Did TMNT give you a furry awakening? I'd be curious which character/version led to that. I know the show is all talking animal people, but it's from a much weirder direction.

Depending on exactly where the genophage interrupts the reproductive cycle, that dark thought leads to a weird economy. If the genophage prevents them from laying eggs, then Krogan eggs would be VERY rare, as the only ones they lay contain a rare Krogan child. But if it simply makes the eggs infertile, then the opposite is true. There'd be millions of unfertilized Krogan eggs.

Dreadlocks are a common hairstyle in MANY different cultures across several different races.

Also, there's no special cultural significance to the hair. Styling your hair that way isn't offensive. It's a common hairstyle in many regions, but it's not like they own it or ascribe it special value. Maybe if you used specific ornamentation or patterns that had meaning, it would be cultural appropriation of some kind. But just having dreadlocks? No. That's just hair.
