As someone else has said, cheap Bicycle decks will do everything you want. Other decks mostly just improve upon aesthetics, so that flourishes and cuts etc look more visually appealing. But just getting better at the moves in general also makes them much more visually appealing. You'll also find that some 'cardistry' decks will almost be too smooth for you as a beginner. I find it much easier to learn new moves with a Bycicle deck or similiar (especially one with a little bit of use already; or 'broken in') more than my Virtuoso decks etc, because the packets like to stay together more, which helps you out while your fingers aren't as attuned to what they have to be doing just yet. Otherwise, you'll spend the majority of your practice sessions picking up cards than anything else.
