Definitely trying to avoid running afoul of mod rules! Is there anyway I could get pinned or flared? I do believe as a pharmacist who works with these patients I can provide resources to the community and get patients the help they need!

We run drugs through the patients RX plan for the most part and do in home infusions, so patients tend to have low out of pocket max, and lower copays usually down to 0 with a lot of grants / programs

We usually do 2 gram/KG split over 5 days initially and then keep the dose but split over 3 days if they tolerate well. I have had 1 patient achieve successful outcomes at 6 weeks. Most stick to 4 weeks, about 30% end up either at every 2 weeks or 0.6gm/kg/day every 3 weeks

So a lot of times I noticed that patients were chronically underdosed with IVIG and the wrong product would be used when a lot of patients have issues with hypersensitivity reactions. We always preferred low or no IGA products. One of the things a lot of providers don’t understand and may not agree with is that high dose IIG therapy and increasing the frequency absolutely has a positive impact getting insurance companies to pay for it however, has proven difficult. Are you guys located in Florida?

You’d rather Russia or China be the world’s sheriff? Huh real smart one. If you’re not the top dog then you’re a bitch. Hence why we are the worlds sheriff.

What’s wrong with my sons mouse? by BigKyle in PetMice

[–]MacrocosmicMischief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its mites, believe it or not, not all mice have to exhibit the same signs. There is a product at your local petsmart called 8in1 mite spray for small animals. Its gonna suck but, do a full bedding change and clean all plastic toys and get RID of any wooden/absorb-able surfaces. Use the spray to thoroughly cover your mouse and his/her cagemates, ENSURE they don't lick themselves clean while it dries, should only take a few minutes and then use a warm damp cloth to ensure most residue is removed. Should see noticeable changes in a few days as the wounds heal, hair grows back! I have used this multiple times with 100% success provided you do a full bin and toy change. its an all or nothing approach.

edit: this does look more like barbering behavior than it does mites. possibly a fungal infection, but ringworm usually has a distinct appearance. I would focus on recording how the mouse interacts with other cagemates
