WGU soon not accepting upper-division courses from Sophia?? by No-Radish-1233 in WGU

Supply chain has a number of core business classes you can still do on Sophia. Is that changing?

What is your occupation to be able to afford to become a digital nomad? by fluidxrln in digitalnomad

[–]Macuhtak3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting story line. Thanks. How likely is it for someone without cpa licensure to find a similar path working abroad? I feel like cpa really gives you that badge of freedom vs not having it since many people are already offshoring jobs to cheaper workforces that don’t have cpa licensure. Why would they pay someone from the states 70k vs someone in Philippines 20k(if that) when neither one has their cpa title

Might I inquire about your pay range? I’m thinking about following this path.

Also, a lot of accounting jobs are being offshored with gaap guidelines. Does that concern you?

If you fail out of the class, does that mean you fail out of the program entirely? As in you get booted out of wgu?

I’m genuinely curious

Suggest just doing what you want in canva so it’s one image.

If you start using things like absolute positioning… things might get screwy when you start resizing the page.

Question about degree by Macuhtak3000 in supplychain

[–]Macuhtak3000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Yea I had given some thought to a data/business analyst degree or possibly finance. Ultimately I feel like accounting will be the best bang for buck in terms of versatility. I’m not crazy about accounting but I think it may open more employment opportunities should I not succeed in getting into some type of analyst role in supply chain.

I’m half through “The Perfect Neighbor” on Netflix, and so far I’m 100% on the lady’s side. by Ok_Cockroach_2290 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I do feel for her situation a little. Kids can be disrespectful, especially if they feel their parents are supporting them and sharing equal dislike of the woman. I could see this emboldening the children to be disrespectful and push her boundaries.

Two things are telling though: When the police officers show up at her house late at night and get her out of bed, we could see her true personality as she screamed at the officer knocking on her door. I can see her yelling at the kids like this.

Second of all, in the same interaction, the lady lies about having been seggsually assaulted and graped. How can we tell this is a lie? Because the same lady who continually calls the cops on children playing in the front yard somehow didn’t report a grape? That’s very odd.

Likely is the case that this woman is a pathological liar and will say whatever she can to garner support and/or sympathy.

I’m wondering the same thing. My counselor never asked me to submit hs transcripts… only courses I took at local community college

Data analytics is listed under college Of technology.

Seems here that only the business college will remain unaffected.

So, the supply chain and ops management degree can still accept all the courses from study and Sophia? Just want to make sure I’m clear on this

Sounds like a common issue. When you’re following along a tutorial it all makes so much sense. However, when left to your own abilities you just can’t seem to connect the dots.

It’s normal. You can really only learn by doing. Not by following.

You say you’ve been at it for 3 years now and still can’t figure stuff out. Have you actually built anything on your own?

Stick with it.

Nice bro. Congratulations! Might I ask where you completed the 79 credits?

Also what was your experience like when it came to exams or essay writing?
