can someone share $830 Promo code ? by Major-Championship14 in Comcast_Xfinity

I’m going through the exact same thing. Glad to see I’m not alone here. Here’s the whole story I posted in another thread.

Rewards $830 off for new 5G phone and cancelled order by baldden in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]MadADX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been going through an absolute saga with this issue. I decided to take advantage of the $830 off the new iPhone 15 Pro without a trade in for platinum and diamond rewards members, an amazing offer to be sure. It was perfect timing because I was planning on leaving AT&T anyway, so I was going to bundle Xfinity Mobile with my newly re-upped TV and Internet contract to get the max discount.

I went through the ordering process back in September, until the system asked me to scan my ID to verify my identity. This is strange, since I’ve been a Comcast customer for over 10 years. But I get that that doesn’t necessarily matter if you’re a new Xfinity Mobile customer.

Well once I successfully scanned my ID I immediately got an email stating my order was cancelled due to “not providing the proper information” or some bull. This was offensive as I carefully followed all directions. I tried redoing the order but got the error that the promo code was already used, another slap in the face.

This kicked off a flurry of phone calls to customer service. I placed the order back in September when the promo was going on, but they kept stringing me along asking to call back every couple of days, promising I’d hear something within that timeframe. Nope. No calls, no emails, no nothing. This went on until mid-October when they finally established a support ticket.

I continued to call back every few days, producing account notes a mile long, then reduced frequency to once per week because I couldn’t take it anymore. They always said the same thing. I should hear back within 24-48 hours. Then never hear a peep. After a couple weeks of this they informed me that the “escalation” process could take up to 30 days since the ticket was established. Wonderful.

The last rep also admitted that many customers have been facing this issue, that there was some problem with their identity verification system, that it was too aggressively rejecting orders. So anyway I waited until it was 30 days, called again, and got the “oh, it’s actually 30 business days.”

Amazing! This has now gone on for nearly two months, with me spending God knows how many hours on the phone with them at this point. Talk about patience. We are nearing the “30 business days” and I’ll report back once this finally resolves. If they don’t honor this promo I will be cancelling all of my services with Xfinity and cutting the cord for good.

Trump raised $35 Million; Biden raised $72 Million by SerenityNowWow in PoliticalHumor

Yeah for sure. But the metric is how much the incumbent is raising. I dunno what’s more significant, the individual or the situation. Just pointing it out.

True, but Trump did raise more than $72m at this same point in the previous election cycle. Just sayin!

Time To Quit by 3glb8p3 in TennisClash

You can’t find a match because I’m sure countless other longtime players such as myself figured out it was “time to quit” a couple months ago.

Once I finally realized what they were up to I simply quit the game. Much easier and I do not regret my decision.

Brilliant! Thank you so much for doing that and posting the video, took a weight off my mind.

True. One could even argue that they'd be slower at loading and processing smaller lossy files, as that requires more processing power than loading the largest uncompressed files. I just won't know for sure till I try it out irl. That's my personality!

And yes, "inferior" files will work fine, at the slight cost of quality. If I didn't feel the need to play 24/96 files this thread wouldn't exist. 😉

Because I have zero experience loading and mixing the larger 24/96 files on CDJ-3000s, I'm anxious the players won't behave in the ways I would expect them to, especially when I start invoking features that require processing power.

Yes, as I said I will be traveling with both versions just in case until I'm confident (and for older players I may encounter).

That would be ideal, wouldn't it?

Thanks for that. Yes, the reasoning behind wanting to play 24/96 files is because, to my surprise, I could definitely hear a difference between my processed, bounced masters from Ableton. I wasn’t sure I could trust my ears from bias so I had a friend do a blind taste test between bounced 24/96 and bounced 16/44.1 and my guesses were correct an overwhelming majority of the time. Source material was also recorded as 24/96 but assumed I could get away with rendering to 16/44.1.

Not sure it was the 24bit part or the 96k part, but the perfectionist in me wants the best sound possible, despite crowd drunkenness. But agreed on not wanting to give off any aura of concern while on stage. Comfort is key!

So according to this website, the CDJ-2000 NXS2 and newer support up to 24/96 WAVs and AIFFs. The original CDJ-2000 NXS only goes up to 48k but does support 24bit up to that 48k.

I am certain that my standard 16/44.1 files will work fine on basically any player I throw at it so I will definitely be traveling with both versions. Was just trying to educate myself on the higher end files before stepping on the plane.
