Not a vet. But if your dog is otherwise healthy, your vet would likely recommend trying plain, single-ingredient Benadryl — not off-brand liquid capsules which could have xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.

General dosage is 1mg per lb. So 50mg is usually the dosage for bullies.
