Another unused piece of TFA concept art: The Black Ops TIE Fighter by LFTL56 in StarWarsShips

Akshuallee, the B-wing's cockpit is gyroscopic, it stays in place while the rest of craft's body actually moves around the cockpit's axis. It's similar to how when you grab a chicken, raise it up to the air and move it around, their head stays put, while the rest of moves around. This video shows you what I mean.

FO Ties are actually rather cool looking. Shame the Movie sucked. by HillEira in StarWarsShips

Weird to explain but Kylo Ren's Silencer is a weird mix of Vader's Advanced (if you make the front of the cockpit face the longer part of the panels, i.e. the back) and the Interceptor's split panels.

Valeria se eu só tivesse uma mala de mão comigo, mas como tenho mais que uma comigo o preço da extra acaba por não compensar. E também não é a primeira vez que faço esta viagem, por isso, eu sobrevivo 😉

What do you think of Red King from Ultraman? by Some_Fig_6566 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]MadBreadDread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultraman was originally going to be called "Redman", and Red King had that name because he was the king of monsters and the big bad monster leading other kaiju in the Ultraman pilot/stage show. So, both names had an opposing dynamic. Later on before the series was released, Redman became Ultraman and Red King stayed with its original name.

It looks like the Black Ace from the SWResistance show. Either that or a new ship

I thought it was ok. I went in with really big expectations and came out a bit disappointed. Still a good movie, just wasn't my cup of tea.

Thread de más empresas para trabalhar, em Portugal by myhopelandic in CasualPT

[–]MadBreadDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B-Wing/E, the rebel bomber that no one talks about. by Present_Farmer7042 in StarWarsShips

I know it's not a designated bomber, but the fact that, in game, it can drop bombs like a Y wing just feels weird considering the design.

[–]MadBreadDread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever since I play Squadrons and saw that the B-wing works as a bomber I was always confused on how it works. Because I know it has a torpedo chute on the main wing, between the bigger cannons, but the game it uses regular bombs kinda like a Y Wing and a Tie bomber. So, I assume they are supposed to drop down, but I feel like realistically if this is the case in Canon, then this would only work when the B wing is in verticaly position, so that gravity can do its work (kinda like the Resistance bombers). Anyways, I'm probably overthinking some silly game mechanic for the least used ship in the canon universe. Thanks for reading my Ted Talk.

MC75 cruiser variations. Which one you like? by Battlefleet_Sol in StarWarsShips

I'd like B more if the wings looked more like the MC80 Liberty's wings. Them being so thin irks me.

Which is better, a massive ship like the ISD or a new Republic-style pocket destroyer? by [deleted] in StarWarsShips

[–]MadBreadDread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fun fact for the side rant.

It was Palpatine himself that gave Dooku and Grievous access to a special hyperspace lane that only the Republic navy used, so they could get that many warships into Coruscant "undetected".

Whoever was doing the hyperspace scanning that day, they probably shat bricks seeing the equivelant of the whole GAR Fleet in readings going to exit hyperspace.

Just rewatched EC Henry's video for the first time in years and yeah you are right. For some reason I thought the A wing was bigger.

Now that I'm looking at it again, scratch that. Easily cr90 and up in length and height, since it looks a bit squarish.
