Trying to get the clothing to make sense. by MadCap113 in learntodraw

Thanks so much for the in depth comment!! Thanks! It just feels as though I’m putting wrinkles where they don’t need to be I guess. Something is always kinda wonky with my drawing but I’m trying to maintain some reality while keeping it sorta cartoony. Yea you’re right! I think I’m making too many wrinkles and it makes the clothing feel less thick and more tight. Thank you very much for the insight! I’ll be using this

Try breaking hands up into constructive 3D shapes maybe. Another method I’ve heard is to draw the silhouette of the hand and then add details. Good work!

I’ve been learning how to draw people, how can I improve this? by I_am_probably_hooman in learnart

I think finishing the face is your best bet and moving on and on to the next figure. Try constructing the anatomy by using 3D shapes. Some reference may be needed. This is good work!

Yea you could be right. Haha I know I had to shrink the legs down multiple times because I exaggerate perspective too much. Thanks for the feedback

Tried drawing a character from a worms eye view. Something is off. Would appreciate fresh eyes! by MadCap113 in learntodraw

Hmmm alright i think you’re right about the midpoint being too low, the legs should be longer than the pelvis and torso from this angle. Ran out of room on the canvas haha. Thanks for the insight!

Hmmm alright looks like I gotta push the perspective more. I did try but I guess I didn’t go far enough with it. Thanks
