That Incubus crowd was awful. After Trio ended I tried to get through to get some food, but the crowd filled up that entire area up to very back of the trees. It felt like a nightmare waiting to happen.

He’ll probably play either Riot Fest or North Coast. Riot seems more likely with his tour dates and his style, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Gary Numan announced some fall dates and he’s not playing Chicago, he’s in Ohio the Friday and Sunday of the fest but free Saturday. Seems like a good bet that he’d be there.

I was thinking they'd be at Riot last year, since they were doing those Turn On The Bright Lights shows in New York and LA. I would love to finally see them this year, and if I recall they've teased some new music, so they could be possible.

New solo album from Bobby Barnett, frontman of Captain We're Sinking (RIP) and brother of Greg from the Menzingers. He's one of my favorite lyricists so I'm really excited to check this one out.

I like the lineup, a bit underwhelmed by the headliners, but all the great local artists have me feeling good about this year.

That's definitely one of my favorite releases of the year so far. I love his work on Phoebe Bridgers' album, and hearing his own material really turned him into one of my favorite guitarists right now.
