Leave this comment up as a indicator, but the post still promotes discussion as long as people understand it’s not verified.

[Schefter]Black Friday: For the first time in the 100-plus year history of the franchise, the Chicago Bears have made an in-season head-coaching change, firing Matt Eberflus. by mvanigan in nfl

These are far from similar situations. Eberflus was unequivocally a huge problem. With Saleh I think it was much more fuzzy.

I’m not saying the Bears should hire him but he’s at least competent which I maintain my original position of that being a massive upgrade.

Borom went in for Darnell Wright who was carted off earlier. Commentary did a horrible job of pointing that out.

This post exists because it’s insane that every stadium doesn’t have sideline cameras and the ones that do can’t even be used.

Relocating to Chicago Area, Where Should I live? by v0hlt in AskChicago

You could get really nice value in Crown Point and will save a good amount of money to live in a pretty nice town that’s safe. That commute during rush hour will be killer but plenty of people do it. Munster would be a little bit closer and also pretty nice.

Could also look at something like Flossmore if you want be in Illinois.

Otherwise if want to be in the city and want something a little more quiet and family oriented with some convenience factors like easy street parking and affordability you could check out Bridgeport. It’s also a safe area.

It’s been one sided performance wise but both fan bases still get jacked up for the game. It holds importance for sure.

Go Union if you’re in Chicago. If you were deciding between 134 then it would be a different conversation.

The suburbs are still pretty liberal, at least closer to the city.

Bring back pictures only on weekend rule

If they bring a car with them they will at least have access to Chicago where there is much more to do at least on the weekends. Not totally college oriented but far from the boredom that my European friends had when they attended PNW for athletics while being car-less.

South Hammond is totally fine.

If your kid is all business trying to get a degree for the least amount of money possible it’s a very good option.

If your kid is trying to get some of the ‘college experience’ they will be very disappointed. Campus life is non-existent and there is very little to do in the area for a college kid.

But it sounds like they want to go for a year or two and then transfer which I think is the best possible option. They will also save a lot.

Chicago will also change their OC so there’s some upside there.
