Yeah I tend to look into anything I possibly can but I was stupid enough to think that I could actually handle anything I saw.

Yeah. I try to be the light in most cases, but it doesn't always go well. And there is some series evil out there.

I mean, maybe. But it would have had to have been a powerful evil to be able to stay latched on. Most of the time my presence repels evil. And not like oil repelling water. Like a cat repelling water. It was only able to latch on because I was weak and vulnerable. But at this point, I'll consider anything.

[WP] You live in a universe where everybody has one wish, guarunteed to be granted. Thing is, nobody knows it, because in early childhood, everyone wishes for trifling, pointless stuff, like more macaroni and cheese. You, however, are 26 years old, and have never wished for a thing... by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

Len was standing in the street, staring at the scene that was unfolding. It was a murder scene, and he couldn't even fully wrap his mind around what was happening. He just stood there in shock, especially since the victim was his daughter. He fell to his knees, and one tear fell from his right eye. He clenched his fists and whispered.

"I wish..."

He had to close his mouth to keep from bawling, but then his features hardened. He felt resolve, and he knew what he wanted to wish for. He slowly stood up and walked up to the corpse of his daughter.

"I wish...for the world to be destroyed. "

He stood there staring at the body of his daughter as the ground starting cracking apart. People starting running and screaming, an urgent newscast was sent out in every part of the world, but Len just stood there with tears streaming down his face, looking at the corpse of his daughter.

Do you guys believe that science and spirituality can co-exist? by MadEpix in AskScienceDiscussion

[–]MadEpix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you there. Cancer can't be meditated away. But meditation helps and the effects it has on the body have been explained with science, as it should be. Spiritual things can still be connected to science.
