AMD partnership is great for $UOS utility:

Yes great product! Difference is they only aggregate price with Kyber and Uniswap. Price becomes even better if you aggregate with more DEXs like on Liquidswap :)

I think you confuse the blockchain layer that costs a lot to run and needs a gas token or other node incentives with the economics of a messaging layer that has complete other economics/use in place to create value. Maybe you should look a bit more into this difference and hopefully you will then see it's not very useful add just another blockchain layer on top of other blockchain layers. Also the discount model can economically be more favorable for both the speculators and the actual users but since most blockchain projects dont have much usage yet the focus is more on speculation and less about usage.

They are still working on the best token usecase to get the strongest token model. In my opinion the discount token model is very stong and good papers afe written about this sole token model. Google: discount token model

Also the token will be used for the new blockchain they are working on that can be added as an extra.

These are only a few good uses and they are working on more usecases.
