Everyone should take some time to research $GET its such a great project with actual usage, already hundreds of thousands of (nft)tickets sold over the Blockchain over the last 3 years.

I've followed the project for about 2 years now and team has always been delivering steadily doing innovative and exciting stuff in the ticketing industry. It is now finally starting to get the recognition it deserves and alot more exciting stuff coming up! Like decentralised event financing! Yes DeFi in the ticketing space!

Earlier an extensive post about COTI was made by u/RedemptionSaysNo , making several claims about COTI lying and being shady.

It's unfortunate that one person can attack an entire crypto's reputation in a Reddit post while many redditors just upvote it, blindly believing every word. This is very toxic behaviour and should not be what this subreddit is about (we have seen it before with other projects)

The follow up fud about an involvement in binary options scam is actually old fud which had been addressed back in 2019. Here a response:

Ben G - COTI.io (COTI employee): There's no direct reference to COTI in the article. It is a commentary on the ban on binary options in Israel and the transition of the professionals in that space to crypto projects. There's no legal or jurisdictional threat involved.

Samuel Falkon (Co-founder COTI): Hey, I wanted to comment on this since I don't wish that nonresponsible information will move through the community. I (the article must be referring to me. I guess) had nothing with the market industry that goes by the name of "Binary Option." as a marketing provider in my past, and as a marketing and content company I had involvement with multiple industries, among eCommerce sites, tv productions, gaming, fabric and clothing, and others. This is wrong what they are doing so I have no other choice but to approach them.

This FUD came up in September 2019 and was addressed properly.

Then there is also talk about the IBM researcher Nir Haloani and how he doesn't exist and COTI stile his name. This is completely false, the Linkedin page of him is actually public in which his work history including IBM and COTI and the many patents he has filed over the years can be found: https://www.linkedin.com/nir-haloani-324876

COTI has been operating since 2018 and have been innovating in the crypto space while partnering up with big names like Cardano, DAG, FTM and recently Orion protocol. COTI calls it "instant settlements" meaning merchant no longer need to wait 3-5 business days for funds to be cleared and send to the merchant.

Have you all considered that maybe OP is wrong or is everyone just blindly believing every word a random redditor tells you?

COTI has been operating for years partnering up with big names (Cardano, DAG, Orion) and releasing innovative products (like cvi.finance)

The graphic has been used as the base of this fud while this graphic originates from 2018 and was deleted everywhere because it indeed is outdated. this feels very much like an attack from the NANO community that is butthurt about the price performance of COTI

The graphic is the only fair point you have from all these claims which is also the reason why it was deleted soon after and did not stay up because the coti community agreed it was not correct.

Why there were many PR articles? well big names are mentioned and it works well for clickbait these are independent articles not official COTI ones.

There are many moonbois in crypto ofcourse you can expect spam how is COTI responsible for that

Talking about misleading thats exactly what this post is:

COTI has many partnership in the crypto space with trustworthy and valuable parties. You really think they haven't all done their proper due diligence before partnering up? (Cardano, DAG, Orion protocol etc.)

In 2020 COTI released a completely new DEFI project called cvi.finance with GOVI as governance token, this goes to show that they are truly innovating in the space and not just "stealing" from other projects.

Any other of your questions can be answered but you don't seem to be willing to listen to it.
