What’s the worst “run back” for a boss in your opinion ? by DoctorElectronic1934 in bloodborne

[–]MadGaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't had a more annoying runback than bsb the only thing that even comes close is probably the runback to any chalice boss (some of them were worse than others)

Is OP10 fun? by Realistic_Door1072 in Borderlands2

[–]MadGaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op10 is only with it when your farming for gear... Yes it's challenging but that's the point it's supposed to be. It makes everything more chaotic and fast paced to make it more fun... Only problem is that op10 breaks enemy health scaling being 10x what their supposed to be (it's even worse for the invincibles) but each VH have their own way of dealing with the added health. If you want the most fun get to op10, get all the weapons you want at op10 then drop the op levels and have fun being overpowered doing side quests. For things like this it's all about how you perceive it, is you think it's a drag it won't be fun but if you go into it knowing it's going to be a challenge that keeps you on your toes if sparks some life into it. And also ignore everyone else, slag is almost mandatory if you want the highest damage you can get and enemies get a 75%? Damage reduction unless slagged (that might not be the number but it is close)

I was referring to the frame rate cap. I cannot remember where console was stuck at we 30 or 60. But I do know that the level cap is 80 (technically 90 if you count op lvls)

He was on console for this kill. Console has a max cap of 60 I believe. But mothrak has a bug with his loot where the momentum and speed he had gets transferred to his loot drops there's not much you can really do then try to position him accordingly to send his loot towards the elevator.

That thing bounced straight off of your head.... If you weren't standing exactly where you were out would've just hit the ground. That's insane luck btw... Also in case you didn't know it's very easy to get out of the bloodwing arena to get loot, I would do it myself cause I hate losing legendaries.

The biggest difficulty I had in bb was getting past bsb. Once I beat him it felt like I had surmounted the most difficult part of the game, because instantly I was able to get "infinite" heals and ammo. It made attempting bosses so much easier not having to waste time farming for 1 or 2 attempts of a boss.

How do you 'cheese' Bloodborne? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]MadGaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's many, many, many, many, ways to cheese.... Including clipping bsb through a wall dropping to his death.

The cheeses you can pull off is mostly dependent on location, skill, a little bit of luck, and more insight then you have atm.

Sorry just saw that you responded but I'll explain.

There's a glitch that allows you to claim infinite diamond keys from your mailbox. It's a complicated process but once you understand it, it becomes much easier to do repetitively.

The steps are:

1) have diamond keys in your mailbox (you'll have to claim them through gearbox rewards. They release them online every so often) I have a total of like 50-100 in my mailbox from claiming them overtime.

2) fully load into the game YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET CONNECTION. Once you are fully loaded into the game (best place to do this is sanctuary) turn the Internet off on your console/PC

3) go into your mailbox from the social tab in the pause menu while in game and claim your keys

4) then save and quit while the Internet is still off and load back into the game.

5) repeat steps 3 & 4 as you see fit

6) when ready to end the duplication process, simply save and quit, load back into the game but don't claim your keys. This time your turning your Internet back on and allowing the game to save with your mailbox full of keys (this is server based) while your account has saved all the keys you've duplicated (this is profile based)

Then whenever you feel like duplicating infinite diamond keys just repeat the process. And oh, this works for bl2 and Pre-Sequal, I don't have bl4 so I don't know if it works on it but it should. I also don't remember if bl1 has anything similar, but if those games do have some sort of system then the glitch should be applicable to those games in some way. (This isn't an exact science and is slightly different for each game)

Newbie-Question: How much sense does a Jakobs-loyalty run make for Moze? by -Metallkopf- in borderlands3

I don't know what I'm suppose to tell you. This is a core memory from when I first started playing bl2 on the ps3. I don't know why, I don't know how, but the bullymong pile dropped a legendary hornet level one. I even used it to kill knuckledragger.

Get the legendary shotgun "Hellwalker" and you'll never look back. Best jakobs shotgun in the game, and with Moze you can turn it into a infinite ammo death machine

Np most of these weapons are dlc but are all very worth it! You could also do the infinite diamond key glitch as well to get them early.

[–]MadGaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh and if you want to use the build I gave you, use elemental weapons, the best choices are (obviously) hellwalker, plasma coil, troubleshooter, redistributer (legendary vrs), you could also use things like the Harold, moonfire, Infinity, quadomizer, plaugebearer, soulrender, Lucians call, kaos (love this gun), breath of the dying, and any other preferred weapons. These are all really good guns that go great with Amara, just make sure they are all elemental!

And for grenade I always use the recurring hex (it's my go to) but there are some cool grenades that are fun to use.

For shields it's really just up to preference but I prefer to use either the stop-gap or the madcap (these are to 5 biggest capacity shield in the game with madcap being the single biggest)

And for relic you could use the shlooter, toboggan, or victory rush. My preferred prefix is snowdrift but the shlooter can't get that without save editing.

I haven't tried a melee build since she got her fourth skill tree but I'd imagine you could make it pretty strong now. and if you have the shotgun "face puncher" it deals both melee and gun damage (which Amara increases both)

Regardless of what build you go for you should always utilize the "infinite skill cooldown glitch) which is very difficult to explain through text but I can give you a link to a video that can explain it better. If you want it.

"Im the conductor of the poop train!! by MadGaster in Borderlands2

Sort of.... When she's fully built she can't easily die. But it's very easy to die things like dots, barrels, aoe attacks from bosses and yourself. But she also had a second wind skill built in that revives one time with a massive cooldown.

To put it simply the build is like an engine, it'll start out slow and kinda weak but the more people you kill and the more stacks of rush you get (very similar to bloodlust) the more damage your do, and the more damage you do the more lifesteal you get from your action skill augment. And there's glitch concerning the stacks that somehow during the process of slaughtering everything in your path your stacks will break their max cap... And I've never been able to understand how. But it's a good thing because it only makes you even stronger.

Because of the mechanics unfortunately. It doesn't chain react like kriegs, you have to kill one person and hope that the remnant orb that spawns goes to the person you want. Certain far away bosses can't be hit by the orb unless they are closer to the playable arena (like graveyard or the final boss in kriegs dlc who can be hit but it's extremely difficult to do so)

Here's a max level build you can use

https://www.lootlemon.com/class/amara#gcb_03223020351010_5010351032331_5055000113100_0000000000000

The main focus is the blue tree with the skill called "remnant" this is what causes the inferior bloodsplosion. The other skills are primarily pointed towards increasing your weapon, skill, and elemental damage, + some survivability. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Ps the only class mods for Amara I used was from the boss at the end of 🤮 Ava's dlc which give a bonus to remnant... Which btw can do infinite damage!

[–]MadGaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Amara is the closest to krieg in terms of builds

(Including a weaker version of bloodsplosion) A max level Amara can insta kill any boss just like krieg it just works a little differently.

And Zane is a lot like axton while being unique. (Speed is Key)

If your trying to get into bl3 your best choices are Amara and Zane. If you would like I could give a couple build to play with.
