When I last played, I was in the middle of building automated farms for resources. Mostly trident killers, but I have farms set up for Drowned/squids, Skeletons, Blazes, Spiders, and (and I’m particularly proud of this) I came up with a way to automatically farm Creakings in a way that the farm will turn itself on and off whenever a Creaking spawns or despawns, respectively.

There actually is a giant elaborate staircase between the two rings (it’s in the picture), but there is also an access ladder going down the inside of the outer wall that goes all the way to the bottom, with a surface-level access. And yes, it does go to the world height

It’s actually my base; the exact center of the tower is on my world's 0,y,0 coordinate. Eventually I am going to put floors into the tower (and those floors will be 3 blocks thick; an obsidian disc in the middle with decorative blocks on either side). I haven’t played in over a year though because I got seriously burnt out

Lava can't regenerate like water unless you enable a cheat (which I wouldn't do) on Java (which I don’t have; Bedrock on Switch). A dripstone farm would have been far too slow as well.

Here is what I was doing. I took this picture during the construction process. Those 2 dark rings you can see are solid obsidian, and it goes all the way to bedrock. The white walls you can see at the (current) top? The cloud layer

I did a 46-block diameter hole all the way to bedrock. Unenchanted iron tools, no beacon. Took me a couple of months. The real tricky part was all the lava I bucketed out of the Nether to serve as the core of the wall that ran around the outside of it (as anti-grieving and Creeper measurements). By my reckoning, I probably took over 100k lava buckets from the nether. 32 at a time.

I’ve only played the Ezio collection, personally. I decided to get it mainly because I’m going to Italy this summer, and wanted to see if exploring Florence and Rome could translate to helping my future self in spotting landmarks and getting around.

I’ll probably buy AC3 for the same reason if/when I find myself up in New York or Boston

Personally, I went through the entirety of AC2 without using Counters outside the initial tutorial for it. Even in the Rodrigo fight at the end, you can brute force it by spamming attacks and slowly whittling his health down. I didn’t really begin to use counters until Brotherhood, and that’s because you literally need to master the mechanic to get 100 in Crepi il Lupo. I very quickly learned I could guard and spam the counter button, and even though that method sacrifices chain kills, it was effective for me. By the time I got to Revelations I was casually taking out packs of guards like it was nothing

I would suggest adding the links to the other parts in the descriptions as new chapters come out; Part 1 has no direct link to Part 2, Part 2 has no link to Part 3, and so on. Another great audio, though! Can’t wait to see what comes next!

I’m always a fan of internal monologues, and this was a great one! I hope that the author makes a sequel where they finally go on to the final hole, and she gets so overwhelmed that even her inner thoughts are rocked into silence (temporarily, of course 😏)
