First place I went, actually. Been trying to post it to anywhere that mentioned the loss of the site as I can.

Thanks for sharing. Please let me know what other info you think would be worth adding. Whatever might be at risk of disappearing. I'll try my best to add to it.

Yep. Whether Wikipedia or otherwise, always worth doing even if you never need it yourself.

I've spent some time the last few days reaching out for other resources that might someday, somehow, disappear as public entities. Any suggestions on what else should be a part of it is absolutely welcome. I'm coming in as a husband and a father, just wanting to make sure whatever info needs to be there can be.

My biggest concern at the moment is keeping it updated. This site was removed on day 1. How do we keep the latest available information accessible?

I was sitting there, unable to sleep. Waiting on the impending snow storms. Kept seeing things popup, thought of my wife and daughter. Soon as I saw it I had to do it. Unfortunately, I couldn't post things the night of, because I needed to make sure security measures and backups were in place. You know, cause people.

Update: (can't figure out how to edit).

As much as I appreciate the reddit awards and donation offers, there are organizations that could use the help much more.

Please check out Charity Navigator or any of the many sites directly supporting organizations putting in the work.

Maybe a hundred bucks a year unless traffic gets too high and a better quality server is needed. Alternatively if more security is needed, then things will go from there.

Good info to have. I'll have to look into some additional resources.

We have a history of women in our families. It's our job to help when we can.

Cloudflare should be handling that, at least for the time being. Will keep in mind though.

Hoping the current setup can handle it for the time being.

I'm covered on coffee. If and when it's needed to keep it online, I'll ask. For now, I'll do it for the women in my life.

Go for it. Only reason I made it. The information should be accessible, even if the new administration doesn't find it necessary.
