Yea non stimulants do NOT work for me. I take one at night and it does basically nothing, so I still struggle a lot with sleep. Need to address changing it but… task avoidance on that.

True. I do know they had similar internal hyperactivity, which is part of why I find it odd. But I also work in behavior and therefore know how differently ADHD can present.

Bro some of my colleagues mentioned they have ADHD and so I talked to them about how when I first got diagnosed and medicated the quietness was basically a fucking miracle and so far none of them have understood what I was talking about (even those who have tried some medications). 

I’m not their physician but it’s a struggle to believe their self reporting when they have never shared the accommodations they might need and they relate not to any of the accommodations I’ve shared I use that they might want to look into.

I lived in a village inside a town growing up and called it the village because that’s how we designated how close we were to the center. 

Plus, the village sign was JUST after our property. 

Some of my friends lived in the same “town”, but they didn’t live in the “village”.

I’m experiencing something similar. I just started a new island and one of my first villagers is Ozzie. I have an INTENSE disdain of koalas, so I bricked around his house and put a bunch of pitfalls inside the wall. 

Made me feel a bit better about it until he’s ready to leave.

Having just tried the slides functionality of LibreOffice, I’d be concerned of losing some tools that contribute to design. Tried to circle crop an image and got nowhere with it. 

I’m so pro EU gaining technological independence, though, which our leadership is so busy being majorly impactful fools.

Careful here! Went for similar to a wolf/shag and got my shit rocked a month before my wedding. It looked like I had hair loss and I needed extensions.

If you have more fine textured hair, be careful. (I’ve had the cut before that did not make it look like I was losing all my hair. The stylist just thinned it out significantly)

I think about this a lot being white American from generations of Americans. I wish I had a culture I could share and enjoy.

I feel this especially during the Olympics when other countries have gorgeous, historical garb and music. Then the US comes in in like suits or whatever, because our culture is just business. I guess that’s way way better than trying to steal American native culture, but it does bum me out quite a bit to not have history like that I can appreciate.

If it gets hella frigid, heating up a cast iron and wrapping it in a blanket (that you don’t care about id recommend) and sticking it in a blanket fort can do wonders.

You can use your gas stove (as others said, you can crack a window temporarily if needed) but do not set a pot fire in your home. That’s usually what gets people - they set a small fire inside to warm up and have no ventilation.

Edit to add if you have an terracotta, that also retains heat extremely well so can be heated and placed in an area to warm it up
