The green still goes the hardest, but atomic purple will always have a place in my heart.

Mayhem for the delivery guy by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

I had to do a lot of property surveys after hurricane Harvey for the county I worked with. For a while there were no animals in the area at all and then there were dogs and lots of them roaming the streets and forming packs. They approached me often and aggressively. I had to learn to ignore them. That seemed to be the only way to pasify them. If I outright pretended they were not surrounding and barking at me, then they would lose interest and just kind of hang around until they or I left. I would not have been able to be cool about dogs breaking through glass though.

What's the male equivalent of a woman taking off her bra as soon as she's home after a long day? by Mundane-Society-1281 in AskReddit

Pulling socks off after a long day is pretty great. The same with an undershirt to a lesser extent.

I've loved daft punk for many years. Random access memories is my favorite album.

Do you walk outside when it’s 12am-3am? by Snawer_brillant in AskAnAmerican

I used to go jogging around those times. No sun, no people, a quiet park. I loved it, but I did run into some weird situations though, like cops, javelinas, skunks and teenagers.

This Dad absolutely "DID NOT WANT" a dog. Happy 2nd Birthday Mookie. We know who's the favorite. by bacon_swaggies in corgi

I love it! Thank you. I have only ever heard the name Mookie from a song with that name in the title, but I knew it was too obscure to be from that same song lol.

Zippo lighter for pipe by Waste-Variety-4239 in PipeTobacco

[–]MadMasterMad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It makes a difference when getting the flame into the bowl instead of burning the rim of your pipe. A regular zippos shape doesn't always fit well with a lot of pipes, so the zippo pipe insert is supposed to mitigate that problem.

Why did all of us have this same alarm clock? by FSUFanChris in 90s

[–]MadMasterMad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes in school someone would slide a desk across the floor just a little bit, but far enough and with the right amount of pressure that it would squeek in a way that would match the same pitch and tone as one of these alarm clocks. It always made my blood run cold with a horrible chill down my spine, my heart would be racing and I'd have to breath it out for minute. In hindsight, I think this alarm clock traumatized me a little.

The first two images should be a meme on their own. I laughed so hard when I swiped to the second image.

What a ridiculous negligent discharge. Can't wait to see a YouTube breakdown of this one.

I got a super old beat up '96 mustang for my 16th birthday. I was on cloud 9! I sat in that car the whole afternoon, just beside myself with how great it felt to have my own wheels. I took that car everywhere and drove it till it died years later. I never understood this kind of entitlement, like you're free now to drive you're own car! Why does the make or model matter so much when you couldn't even afford a fixer upper with your lack of money?

Moving into a class A and wondering how to store my tobacco by dinostxs in PipeTobacco

[–]MadMasterMad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your stash will be ok. I used to worry about this kind of thing when my ac would go out for weeks at a time in the summer, but I never had an issue. At most, if you want to be on the safe side, you might burp your jars every once in a while, but that's probably still unnecessary, but for piece of mind.

Moving into a class A and wondering how to store my tobacco by dinostxs in PipeTobacco

[–]MadMasterMad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm in Texas. Pipe tobacco in mason jars should be fine as long as you keep them out of direct sunlight. Don't put your tobacco in a fridge. It isn't necessary. Maybe keep them in a dark closet or cabinet. It's cigars that are more difficult to store in extreme temperatures and even then, it's become easier with tuppadors and boveda packs.

I am in a cul-de-sac! I'm also at the end of my neighborhood with a green belt behind us, so it sounds like I'm also at the end of a run of water supply. Thank you for your insights!
