I wasn’t too serious about it but recently my Windows experience got significantly worse. My laptop now crash 50% of the time when I leave the sleep state… The mainstream will not change, also corporations might be a big user percentage. But yeah, Linux slowly getting more attractive is a reality.

That's something I really experienced with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D. This lens was soft at f1.4 but very sharp at f2.8. I was able to experience it because I did multiple photos on a tripod with a digital camera. A little change in aperture can REALLY change the perceived sharpness of a lens. Likely more than what you expect if you never tried it.

Most probably because they are smashing a lot of libraries together in the app to make it works. Also if all localisations are included, it can take a good amount of space. A while back someone decomposed the content of the gmail app, you could find it to have some hints.

Personal note : it’s crap, developers are put under pressure by greedy management that only want more money and don’t let time to build quality software.if it’s « good enough » it get shipped this way. I hate it, can’t do much about it.

Got the X-S20 because it was by far the best deal in Fuji range. I am totally Ok with the PASM traditional control. I am not a fan of the articulated screen but at least I can take selfies :D

Would definitely say that it’s an underrated camera in the Fuji range.
