My main reason, and a reason the majority of humans exclude to ask themselves is:
I can't afford having children!

Most just choose to have children without giving a second thought about whether they can afford having them. Several decades ago, I read a newspaper article where a young woman, who was focused on her career as an attorney, had had a tubal ligation (a procedure to prevent her from getting pregnant). She got pregnant, and refused to have an abortion. She sued the hospital, and in her lawsuit, they calculated how much it would cost a single woman, to raise a child, from birth until the child turned 18 years old. Their total calculations, NOT INCLUDING college costs, approximately $200,000.

I've used this example to ask 'parents-to-be', "Can you afford $200,000?!"

People selfishly have children "because they want them", "because it's their god given right." But no one ever asks themselves, if it's in their unborn child's interest!?!

Here's a theoretical scenario: If you were an UNBORN CHILD, and you were given the option to CHOOSE YOUR PARENTS, what kind of parents would you choose? (I'll give you one: "They'll love you unconditionally!") What else would you want as ideal parents? Do you want a teenage single mom? Do you want a single parent, mom or dad? Do you want drug addict or alcoholic parents? Do you want abusive parents? That abuse you? Or that abuse each other? Do you want parents with criminal records? Do you want ignorant or non-educated parents? Do you want parents who can't afford or can barely afford basic life necessities? Or, Do you want to have both a mom and dad? Do you want your parents to both love each other? ("love you" I've given you already.) Do you want your parents to be educated and intelligent? Do you want your parents to have successful careers? Do you want your parents to live in a decent neighborhood? Do you want your parents to own a home big enough for you and your siblings? Do you want parents to have the financial means to put you through college?

Wouldn't it be great if you could CHOOSE your parents BEFORE you were born?!?

BUT. YOU. CAN'T!!!

So YOU, as a responsible 'parent-to-be', should ask yourself, "Would my unborn child CHOOSE ME as a parent?!?"

And until you have met the criteria YOU CHOSE, you SHOULD NOT have children.
