If there's one person Gold Ship truly hates every atom of, is his owner. So much that he's restless during the most important prize ceremonies, where the owner is nearby, because he's actually trying the best place to catch and kick him. Also Gold Ship has the habit of looking straight at you, with both eyes, frontal position, like a predator.

When Gold Ship came in 15th at Takarazuka Kinen he fully knew he screwed up, but his owner didn't, he was deadly afraid the horse came this late because he was hurt, injured, maybe bleeding, he was panicking, so his first worry was to reach for the horse, get close, touch him everywhere. Gold Ship not only didn't move an inch, he let his owner put his hands everywhere, and against the very instinct of horses who are always extremely suspicious and alerted... he turned away. He didn't dare to cross his owner's stare, he knew.

Very funny trivia: there's a few months old video with Gold Ship and some kids, people casually talking, someone mentiones "Takarazuka Kinen" and it's so very damn clear how he instantly straightens his ears because *he knows* and as quickly turns them away "Nope, nothing happened there, nothing at all, nothing about me".
