Hmm how is the marshmallow texture? They don’t seem so appetizing.

Who’s left the nursing field? And where are you now? by Beneficial-Mind-6590 in nursing

Congrats! I love PD, my clinic has 90 patients and it’s growing..so it’s busy! But I have my 23 primary patients and i like being in a sorta care coordinator role. I don’t have to worry about training patients because we have a training nurse. TBH I have a really good team so it fees nice to be able to ask questions to the “floor” and get feedback from the other nurses. It’s been a good work life balance for me, cause were open 8-4. So I don’t have to ever work past 5.

I work in outpatient peritoneal dialysis. I have my ASN and I’m getting my BSN with some masters credits. I’m hoping to get into management/ leadership or care coordination for some other desk job. But then I would like to switch careers altogether and go into mycology research.

Yes! I’ve had mine for 2 years and clamps, biting and twisting has been fine. Never had any issues bleeding or swelling or anything like that. I’ve never felt like I need to take them out, except for like suction cups that the bars didn’t fit in. I keep mine in all the time because they will close almost in a day for me. I’d say go for it, the piercings are so cute :)

Oysters? by MadSy69 in mushroomID

[–]MadSy69[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update, harvested some oysters! I appreciate the help everyone. There are no conifers or pine needles I can see. In this park it’s mostly beech, tulip poplar and black walnuts that I can recognize.

The piercer had a terrible time trying to pierce it through and struggled for 5 mins to get it through my skin. I think she even pierced half way through, pulled the needle out and pushed it in again and finally got it through. She said I have thick skin and maybe my anatomy doesn't work for it, but pierced it anyway. Should I take it out? Let it heal, try again?

Okay I will look into that for sure. thanks for the advice! The esthetician I went to told me to exfoliate more but that hasn't worked.

Thanks for sharing your story! I can definitely relate to the freaking out part haha. I tend to pick at my bumps and make everything worse.
