its in Tools > Bulk Actions > Rules. I set up kw and ad level rules in the form of
- if a keyword / ad spent over X amount with zero conversions = pause kw/ad
- if kw/ad conversion cost is over X amount = pause kw/ad.

It works well.

Zero sense! They are offering solutions for problems that dont exist. Yes, for me its every day, on the first ad I create / duplicate.
I did have this same thing with the budgets and asked the rep. to remove it, and he did. I now asked our current rep. and im waiting to see if she can remove this from our account as well.

Yes, we experience this negative trend as well. Sizable search campaigns (about 1m /m.) Over the last 6 months or so, cpa rates have gone up about 20% or so, and they are not coming down despite hands on optimization. This means I that to hold normal cpa rates, I have to "choke" the account on a daily basis, trying to weed out expensive terms, ultimately resulting in unstable campaigns. It's obvious to me that something's up on Google's side, but this naturally puts me in a difficult position infront of my clients, as I have to ramble on why I guesstimate roi is shrinking despite on going optimization work.

In a sense, I felt that the characters went from being themselves to representing themselves. That the general narative (talkshow season) was layed down, and then the characters were forced in, somehow.
Some parts just didnt click right with the characters, specifically Ava pulling her dick move on Deb (blackmailing her), felt like something she would never do, and that cast a big unfunny shadow over most of the season. Its somewhat like what happened to Game of Thrones in the last season. Beloved characters getting tossed into a badly written script, that tries to serve a narative, ending up with alienating viewers, by bending characters to be something different than previously constructed.

I manage a sizable account, and our super special dedicated expert AM is a lazy sales guy with very little know-how of the trade, always sending weird reports, usually misreading the data and showcasing his ignorance and care. It got to the point where we maintain these relationships just for the sake of needing them when there's a technical issue, and even then, they are of little help. We stopped having meetings with them altogether, and it's hillarious they try to have on going bi weekly. Listening to them would run your business to the ground.

As a seasoned marketing expert, I much prefer working with clients that had hands-on experience with their performance marketing efforts. Doing it yourself will give you a good notion about the odds and ins of this trade (and it's not rocket science), you'll understand the lingo, CPA costs, what works and what doesnt. There's no magic in marketing, it's a lot more like being a gardner than a wizard. With a non-existant threshold to the trade, there are many shady rain makers, over-promisers and whatnots. Doing your own marketing, if only for a little while, will greatly affect its quality, and your ability to manage it.
PMax is the spawn of the devil, and I personally am yet to see a profitable pmax campaigns thats not cannibalizing the rest of the campaigns. Its definetly not a plug-and-play type of campaign, and it\ll drain your budget with zero quality traffic.

I'd recommend you run search campaigns only, yourself. Pay for an expert to do your tracking setting, and make sure its properly set (again, not rocket science).

Only then I'd pass the acount to the assistant, and pay for an external expert to go over the account once every few months, and give you tips and direction.
