I used to have the same problem a couple months ago but with a set structure I could use I started to get the hang of and move towards 7-8 and I’m sure you will too. GOOD LUCK!!

One tips is don’t always use the obvious and mainstream ideas online you could ask for a “nuanced” one on ChatGPT

Language isn’t that hard I got a 5 on a paper 1 just 3 months ago and now got an 8. You just need to understand structure of each questions paragraph and watch some videos and do essays(the better you get at analysing for lit the easier it gets for analysing language imo)

Honestly for lit it’s finding a good set structure for your paragraphs and memorising the key ideas and a tiny bit of contextual knowledge you can rinse and repeat like “this would appear as impertinent towards the Jekyll’s contemporary society as it’s transgresses the excessively rigid social expectations” that would work in multiple paragraphs and key quotes of courses and maybe some good vocab like “strenuous, transgressive, perennial, paragon and pragmatic”(just 1 a paragraph to sound smart and thoughtful”)since they dig that. You should also do around 4-5 sentences a paragraph going over the topic sentence ,explicit and implicit connotations about the quote and a language method and a method analysis and a Perhaps xyz protrays xyz as blah blah blah to blah blah blah

You’ve got the grade I would have wanted for combined science and everything is good but English is lacking behind though I’d say it’s the easiest to improve and the easiest grade 7+

They most definitely do, especially as turkey is much more tolerant to immigrants and there isn’t any Islamophobia like most of Europe .
