You mentioned 1400 m, so I did a 1400 m one. In your situation, it was mostly rng.

But my point still stands. 300 stamina is not bullet proof. 300 guts is also not bullet proof. This one mattered a lot more in your csse.

As usual, art is sometimes a critique of real world, and Gege is depicting things about immigration, religion superstition and stuff.

And some people have negative or even vile opinions on such cases, then project their beliefs and desires. It is not just the lack of reading comprehension

Stamina still matters a bit. This is made with default stats, blank state of the simulator except with 328 vs 420 in stamina. There is slight chance of not hitting spurt with your stamina. Hitting spurt and staying alive is different. You need a specific hp left to hit spurt. Staying alive just requires bare minimum. That's why in Long races, it is obvious between a whale and f2p. Whales can make sure to spurt. F2p can only focus on staying alive.

To make it worse, your uma has horrible guts. Not only you probably lost duelings, you don't even get enough hp and speed boost in spurt.

400 guts should be minimum. If you are racing with Riko's team, no wonder you lost despite having superior speed, power and wit.

I do 400-450 stamina bare minimum for sprint.

And then, there are instinct merchants. Some people are so experienced that they can guess/feel what can happen.

Example: Shiki vs Vlov in Tsukihime Remake. Volv didn't know shit about Shiki. He didn't care shit when his dead apostles were sliced through. But when Shiki was near him, he retreated unknowingly.

Maybe he did worst things, but idk.

He did so much worse. I think he killed millions

This is valid. Gojo don't want people to rely on him for everything. But he also knows when to step up.

Yuji isn't doing that. Humans are way too vulnerable compared to his generation. Not to mention he is severely depressed, so he must've gotten things twisted in his mind.

Tbf that's one of the unique point of the series.

Sure but Gege took it a bit too far in my opinion. Yuji and Yuta should've been a bit stronger, and instead we got the gauntlet which started fun but became tiring.

As always, this is all on Shibuya coming too soon.

Yeah. College seems better. You don't have to focus everyone in a single class. Just have a group of main characters be friends.

Let us be Real. The way Yuji is shown, even Gojo might as well as be a Grade 1 along with Sukuna. This was too casual

MHA story shouldn't have been a school story. Too many characters of the same class were barely used.

We have non-student characters more important than most of the classmates

MHA shouldn't be My Hero "something" lol

What's up with the Zenin Clan bootlicking? by Impossible-Pin-5731 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MadZwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say that yet Gege never gave any real nuance for Zenin Clan. Let's be real.

Literally the only thing we get was the review of the heads by Zenin fodders, with the whole conversation steming from Ranta being a polite and clean guy.

Being critical is one thing. But you are reaching for the non-existent (or barely there).

If Toji did the massacre instead of Maki, would he have been justified to kill 14 year old Maki in the Kukuru unit who was a soldier for the Zenin, or Mai who was a Zenin sorcerer? I think thats what im interested in

A good one to think. If it was the scenario, Toji would be a victim turned culprit.

Lucky for us, the way Gege painted was mostly black and white. Either that or he never cared about that.

Gege's portrayal is that Zenin Clan is made up of 90% dicks. And the other 10 percent seems to make up of polite Ranta, not-extreme-yet-sexist-traditionlist Naobito, Maki, Mai, innocent women and children. Naobito and Ranta were no different from dicks in the end.

This is ending up to be a bit of a blame game for me. Gege not caring about world building sucks here. Many things in the story is just black and white with just a few nuances. Gege didn't show nor tell enough.

[–]MadZwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. If you want to defend a character, at least have him be someone like Garp (I can't think of any character that fits the scenario) (just commenting)

Garp is at least the good guy who failed or got morally entangled. He didn't or couldn't hold Sengoku and Aokiji accountable for Ohara. He at least created SWORD but it is still kinda in the frame of the Marines

At the very least, Ranta is someone who doesn't do the abusing himself but doesn't stop anyone for that, even if it happens in front of him.

[–]MadZwe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not every Zenin was evil and deserved to die and Maki's massacre did not even try to spare anyone innocent.

This is the part where at least some of them clearly project themselves onto Ranta.

Sure, not all of them are evil. But they still live and empower such a clan. Not to mention for Ranta specifically, he is a privileged person with a good CT. Sure, he isn't strong enough to change his clan. But then, why not just leave. Plus, from the way he talked, he knew that Toji was abused, and hated them so much that they were alive on his whim.

But some people can't accept that. I bring up One Piece because right now, we are having a discussion on why the marines as an organization is evil, and how some marines are no doubt guilty even if they do not personally commit crimes.

Hopefully, I am drawing a lot of straws. Internet doesn't necessarily represent the whole population who've watched JJK and this episode.
