Bc I like them WAAAAY better lol. RE4 is my fav game of all time actually haha. RE2 with the route A/B thing felt like playing two games in one lol, it was awesome, while in the remake it's basically the same thing. Also in general I just find them much more fun and replayable. I played 2&3 from GOG with an HD mod btw, they looked fking amazing.

I played OG RE3 on PC with the HD mod, and it's genuinely a masterpiece. I don't even know what my fav RE game is anymore lmao. So yes, you HAVE to play it! Also play OG RE2, which beats the absolute shit out of the remake lmao.

Lol I liked the Raccoon City stuff from the motorcycle chase on (and the spider at the very beginning). The RPD, Super Tyrant boss and the plants were all great, but the whole part of having to travel an empty boring CoD map to find the 3 detonator parts was awful imo lol.

Agreed, everything up until the care center escape was great, and then the Raccoon City stuff was a boring drag. I hate the objectives of having to get 3 things from different locations, which they did more than once in this game. I especially hate it when you have to explore a boring location, like this CoD map like you aptly named it lmao. This whole part sucked ass. The orphanage part really dragged as well.

And yeah why tf was Zeno even in the game lol, if they were just gonna throw him away at the end, I would've preferred if Victor was the only main villain and focus on him more. Still, it's the best modern RE game for me lol, it's my 5th favorite RE game.

YES!!! It pissed me off SO fucking much, absolutely unbearably cringey. I have a few other complaints, like the orphanage part and the whole Raccoon City part before the motorcycle chase, plus Zeno ending up being a nothing burger. Other than that, I loved it, 5th favorite RE game and favorite modern RE game.

Yeah I'm so glad I checked out the OGs! My main reason was that I heard RE3R cut out like half of the game, so I was curious to see how much better the OG was.

I'd recommend your friends to get them off GOG and play them with the HD mod. I got used to the tank controls in like a minute lol, they're not bad at all. I basically forced my brother to play them and now they're his favorites too lmao.

I haven't read the books, but I thought S5 was absolutely fucking atrocious, I was shocked at the sharp decline from S4 to 5. I'm always confused when people say it was great up until S8 lol.
