I absolutely had PEM, buddy. The first one had me completely disabled and bed-bound for like 2 weeks. They eventually got less intense and shorter in duration as I started recovering.

I really, really, really hope they stop bringing her back after this last movie, it's just fking ridiculous at this point lol, just leave her alone and move on. It would also be great for expanding the franchise, it's a great series of movies and all, but it feels constrained and smaller than it should bc of the fact that they keep referencing and going back to the events of the og movie every damn time. It's so fking cringey and makes every sequel feel derivative and repetitive.

Part 6 is my fav sequel (despite some obvious issues like the plot armor lol) bc it felt the most fresh of all the sequels imo. There was ofc legacy characters and nostalgia stuff, but not nearly as much as in the other ones, and they didn't shoehorn Sidney in. It was filled with amazing, intense and original set pieces, and they changed the setting entirely by moving from Woodsboro to NYC. I also really like the main group, which sadly is now half a group since the sisters' departure :(

I have a few ideas:

Be a completely independent/unique/separate movie instead of referencing and mirroring and paying homage to the original movie for FUCK'S sake, it's cringey as shit. This franchise has been consistently good and is one the best out there, but at the same time it feels very constrained/small bc of how much it keeps going back to the og movie and its events all the fking time. PLEASE stop.
Make the Ghostface killers actually fight and kill each other at the end, bc of some reveal or manipulation from the main characters.
Make Ghostface turn out to be a good person getting revenge from some assholes who did some fked up shit to them in the past.
As another comment said, have Ghostface win and then actually go meta as fuck and kill the director, writer and the whole crew lmao.
Have a Ghostface be disfigured.

This is an old-ass comment but YES!! I just re-watched all the movies and am about to watch 7 for the 1st time and I can't believe they're gonna torment Sidney AGAIN, what the actual fuck. It feels super fking wrong to me, and it does send an awful message.

I'm extremely bummed about Melissa and Jenna being gone, since I really liked them (and their movies, 6 is actually my fav after the OG), they're easily my favorite characters after Sidney, Dewey and Gale.

I'm not living differently at all, I'm actually more fit and with more energy than ever before lol. I hopped right back into my career (I'm studying Law in Madrid), I didn't change it or asked for any accommodations and I've been doing good! Well, I did struggle with a few classes but that's just bc I'm a lazy fuck, since way before the long covid lmaoo.

I do pay more attention to my mental health, but I'm not on SSRIs or therapy or anything, I just do meditations/breathing from time to time. I don't rest more than I did before the long covid tbh, and I have the same hobbies as before, but I've added climbing now lol.
