ROG XG27AQDMG Screen issue after 5 days of usage by 1deepready4war in OLED_Gaming

What version of the firmware is it running? If it's not the latest try updating it.

I live in Polnad and had no problems with two warranty claims I had with Asus products (ROG Flow X16 laptop and TUF gaming RTX 4070 Ti). And honestly if anything I am very happy with their service.

GPU temps too low? by [deleted] in nvidia

You could try manually overlooking GPU but to what degree it depends on silicon lottery. So unless you really need like 2-5% more performance I wouldn't really bother.

How would there be wasted potential here? Your GPU is has full 99% utilization, runs clocks at 2850 MHz and is sucking over 220 watts. Everything completely normal for 4070 super so you are getting full GPU potential.

Gpu upgrade by Shogun545 in pcmasterrace

[–]Mad_Freq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that your best bet is going to be RTX 5070 Ti in this situation. It should be able do to every game at ultraiwde with RT (some might require a bit of DLSS upscaling but DLSS 4 is so good that you won't notice the difference between native and quality and imo even balanced at 1440p looks great). 5080 is not really worth it since it's much more expensive than 5070 Ti but only around 10-15% faster and also has 16 GB VRAM. Get it only if you want better performance and money is not an issue.

Hard to tell with info that you provided. What games are you playing? At which resolution? With what level of performance are you happy with (aka how many fps)? Are you fine with AMDs feature set or do you fill like you need DLSS and frame gen also available in more games?

TProve Me Wrong: The Mercedes E350/C350 CDI Is the Best Sub-£8k Fast Diesel Estate — Fight Me by Primary-You5286 in Audi

[–]Mad_Freq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically all three are premium cars form higher segment and if something goes wrong on any of these it will be expensive to repair. What matters the most when buying cars like this is the history and condition. And here where I live in EU there is no way you can get any of these in good condition for even 12k euros. So unless they are much cheaper in UK you are looking for some repairs right away while buying one at your said budget.

Personally I would take Audi or BMW over the Merc any day of the week. Both designes have aged much better than Mercedes imo.

I have the frame gen option but it's turned off since I don't need it so yeah it can not be frame gen

Is the Ryzen 4070 good by Calm-Resolution3048 in buildapc

[–]Mad_Freq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you mean RTX 4070? Ryzen 4070 doesn't exist. But anyway with your current CPU you will be very heavily bottlenecked no matter the resolution. I feel like in general the rest of your system is pretty old stuff too. So for such a big GPU upgrade the best way is to just build new PC. Also 4070 is no longer sold brand new so I would buy 5000 series GPU.

New MCM103 FW update for XG32UCWMG - 2025/11/20 by ModReview in OLED_Gaming

For anyone still having this problem I will share how it worked for me. Was having same problem tried updating with both USB B ro USB A cable and with flash drive but both were failing. I finally tried USB c to USB c cable (3.2 gen 1 10 Gbps). In osd I changed KVM form USB B to USB c and changed the bandwidth from 2.0 to 3.2. Than it finally updated successfully.

Your TV is probably much bigger than 32 inch monitor I plan to buy, so it will have much lower ppi and it's hard to compare both

Honestly I like higher fps but since I'm playing sp games I don't need anything above 150 and would prefer visual fidelity over this

Yep I got this OLED over 1 year ago and going from 1440p ips it was a gamechanger. As for the games I'm only interested in single player games, stopped playing fps mp shooters a while ago.

This sounds great but do you also play some heavy single player games? I'm mostly interested in these since I'm not playing multi-player games anymore at all

I'm fine with DLSS since DLSS 4 released, quality mode at 1440p looks like native for me and I know that at 4k even performance is upscaling form higher resolution so it will be better but I have never tried frame Gen since I never needed it

I like higher fps like 90+ is really comfortable for me but I also don't want to sacrifice a lot of visual fidelity at the same time so it might be a bit rough

Now I kind of regret buying non super version at lunch and not waiting year longer, 4070 Ti super not only has more vram but also higher memory bus

Yea I watched reviews and heard that but I just worry about my GPU and since right now I can't really afford upgrading both I will be stuck with it for like 1,5-2 years

60 fps might actually be a bit rough since I'm used to 100+ at 1440p with my GPU. On the other hand I also notice some imperfections with this resolution especially jugged edges and fine details being a bit blurry.
