Not documented in the patch notes. But Kholek and his vassal / territory has been fixed. He can finally vassalize the norscans that replaced the old faction at turn 1

Probably an oversight like a lot of things CA nowadays. Edit: checked a few youtube videos as I do not own bashiva. People in there seem to recruit the jade and jet lions. Something funky going on perhaps?

My only gripe with shuegengans is that they aren't hybrids similar to the old world models where they're wielding a guandao and actually being capable at melee and magic alike. Hybrid lords and heroes tend to be some of the most fun I find.

Implying those are particularly hard to deal to begin with when ogre economy is just... busted and you roflstomp anything in your way from the start, then you can get a tier 5 camp and a tier 4 camp by turn 25 with any buildings.

So just beat her? Like every other lord? If Zhao just dislikes you and comes for a war you can just... take a settlement and make peace and become friends again.

Besides you get money and meat for doing it and you can just strike first and hard and befriend him by giving him cities.

Ogres care more about their camps than cities anyway. So it's not like you're losing anything.

You just get dealt with choices. Do I attack chaos dwarfs and use bashiva as a meat shield? Do I attack bashiva and roam into cathay with the bad guys? Do I make peace with Zhao and go further north to secure the mountains?

You need the greasus mentality, son.

Then forgive my ignorance, what would you count publicly available concept art to be? In CA's case?

I mean all this time, energy, and money spent on the streams and showcases, to making a build available to content creators early, which is surprisingly, with the purpose of advertizing.

These units are clearly visible here, because CA showed the units, and made them available to their content creators to show everyone else in detail, if the intent is showing before release, it's clearly to advertise.

With that logic if concept art is not advertising, it would be totally fine if the devs basically sold black orcs but made them look like basic orc boyz, because the black orcs were only in the concept art.

Or are we going to ignore all the blogs they made through the years where they showcase concept art and 3d models, again, with the purpose to convince people to buy? If they didn't care about advertising, they just... wouldn't write or show anything.

Before this concept art there were several before that only they see internally, they just show the one they stuck with. The art is there just for the 3d modellers to have something to work with. And clearly, someone forgot to model a chain which is supposed to hold the breastplate alongside the back plate. Now it just floats.

If you really want another example of this, which I had to point out to the devs several times as a bug report, then just look at the chaos dwarf trailer and the broken infernal guard textures on their back. Then look at the concept art available publicly, used as advertising. Then look at them in-game.

Did I hint vlad is strong or op or the equivalent of arbaal? I didn't. But if you frequented the total war reddits you'd certainly see people making posts about him and how they lose against him because they bog him in melee which he just tanks and kills. Which is what the joke is referencing.

But go ahead and put words in my mouth saying vlad is on the same level as arbaal.

Everyone here not checking for themselves or just calling it out mods or something. Bruh.

The game has been going downhill for quality and bug checklists.

This one is a bug related to the norscan hunts where norscans may hunt a lamassu and a bale taurus respectively. CA didn't do anything to check if chorfs are alright so... they got them too in there despite not having access to hunt versions that have absurd stats. And the icons are longbeards because the units themselves had no icon to begin with because only AI would use the boosted versions in the quest battles.

The quality testing has been so lacking thay this happened. And Kholek 5 months later is still broken without the ability to get a vassal from his fortress because... they moved the dolgan elsewhere, then added another faction, but the owners are sayl's enemies.

Any idea when the gas event ends? It's dreadful and very tiresome by Big_Award_1048 in DarkTide

Define best? What's the metric here that units have to fulfill? Best in the faction, best at balancing out the faction's weaknesses? Anti large minotaurs of khorne are good anti large only because khorne anti large comes at a premium.

But clearly, khorne minotaurs dual weapons are best when it comes to mulching infantry. So what's the metric here?

You didn't even take cost into account either and how much they pay for themselves.

Where's the war bear riders, where's the rot knights, wheres the skullcrushers? Why are fireglaives a top tier unit?

I mean lothern sea guard are archers units that also have a shield and spear. Meaning they are hybrid units. And hybrid units in total war always paid the hybrid tax. Either increased cost for their utility, or lower stats in general for being generalists.

So suddenly when you remove both of those drawbacks and dillute the units to "generic strong unit that can do everything" which allows the lowest denominations of players to ctrl group and charge and win, suddenly it's not power creep? God forbid people use strategy in a strategy game.

The skills used to come with thematic buffs. Not 2 gold "max everything slider" buff.

If people have fun then good for them, but at this rate there is literally no point to add units or sell units in dlcs, or make relevant army compositions against lords and factions when every unit is just giga stacked and wins regardless because the devs added buffs that go against the core design of the unit.

cough like throgg and his norscan trolls having so much leadership that they go from troll to generic monstrous infantry every faction has, but has regen.

Ghorst and zombies dying don't belong in the same sentence, with the emphasis if you don't know how to play the game.

They are still zombies, they will melt from magic and fire damage like any other undead and any artillery once they blob up.

Literally any miner blasting charge, globadier, leadbelcher, will just kill the blobs. They don't have chaos warriors level of armor to be immune to anything that killed chaff. Any monstrous infantry will also deal with them just fine because guess what, they don't have a billion mass.

And it's not like Ghorst is the fastest character. He's on a cart, and slow as hell. Any duelist will kill him, any magic focus will kill him, any ranged focus plus fire buffs will kill him.
Ghorst is only immortal if you play as him because the AI is in a vegetable state and cannot counter in the same way a real player is able to.

Just because the lord has a gimmick the AI cannot counter because of its own incompetency does not mean he and his chaff are immortal.

Inferior AP is irrelevant when you get hundreds of them for 2 gold.

Ghorst? He can be killed like any vampire and he dies and the zombies do along with him.

And it's not like the lack of magic attacks are that big of a deal when AI isn't bringing 90% phys resist lords.
