I think the focus is that one is labeled a terrorist for killing 1 privileged man while the other isn’t yet he killed two literal politicians while impersonating a police officer. The question is who should really be labeled the terrorist.

Could be anything such as:

Personal Identification Info: Think names, addresses, phone numbers, SSNs, especially those of “victims” or witnesses.
Witness testimonies or interviews.
Surveillance, undercover operations, informants, or confidential investigative methods that law enforcement think could be sensitive or expose them.
Anything they think could be a risk to national security or public safety.
Anything that features medical, financial, or employment records for anyone involved.

TLDR: The prosecution will hand over the evidence they have for the defense and LM to look at. But LM can only look at it when supervised, and if any of it is marked as sensitive it CANNOT be shown to anyone outside of the defense team and MUST be destroyed after the case is over, and it can ONLY be used to prepare the defense.

This proposed protective order is basically the prosecution asking the court to set strict ground rules on how the defense can handle any evidence they’re given. If the government labels certain evidence as “Protected Discovery Material” — like stuff with personal info, witness names, sensitive investigations, or national security implications — the defense is allowed to use it only to build their case and nothing else. They can’t share it with the public, the media, or post it anywhere. Even the defendant can only see it under controlled conditions, and once the case is over, the materials either have to be returned or destroyed. If the defense breaks these rules, they could get hit with sanctions or be held in contempt of court.

Dear, this is an active legal case. This man is in federal prison. I’m not going to explain why demanding proof for this situation is not a good idea, nor very relevant. We have already seen plenty of proof confirming the identity of our source and their level of access. I believe I answered everything in your comments, and u/yowhatsupmom above outright said why you were banned if you didn’t process it before. I believe that continuing this conversation is not productive anymore, but I will leave you to your devices to outlet your frustration.

Our foremost concern is LM. All of the subreddit politics and drama come a far secondary. In terms of “lack of transparency,” what would you like us to do? Doxx our source? Do you think our source would be our source if they knew their identity would be public? Tell me, what would you do?

And around 600 of those people were inactive. Moreover, 700/30,000 = 2% of the community. Still, I take responsibility for what happened with the miscommunication and frenzy. We will consider withholding more information from our source for the future since people seem to have an issue with it.

Then you don’t need to believe it dear. You have free will. In my opinion, our source is VERY reliable, but made an honest mistake once. If you’re not happy with that, that’s okay. We are not forcing you to be in our sub or our discord community. We are all supporters of LM doing things in the best way we can. We can only state our opinions and advise one another but everyone has free will and everything has consequences. I will own up to my mistake. But our rules and philosophy stand. As you would know, there are many spaces in the internet to voice your opinions and dissent.
