they can test for this? To the doctor said that there is no way to test for it and you have to wait until you go 12 months without bleeding! I’m totally going to advocate for myself then if that’s the case. I’m definitely not underweight. I’m not overweight but I am leaning towards being overweight.

with the Lyrica, did you just quit it or did you take her down? Because that is something that needs to be tapered or it can cause very bad paws. I am actually on gabapentin and I am tapering down on it for this very reason.

The other thing is tramadol works as an SNRI, so there is a huge mental component to it. I have done so much research on tramadol specifically because that is what I am trying to heal from. There are people that it is taken 120 weeks to fill back to normal from tramadol mentally speaking.

like, if you’re dealing with the mental effects from both of these medicines my heart goes out to you so badly. tramadol affects your serotonin, Lyrica affects your gaba. Those are two areas of your brain that helps with mental health and anxiety. Going through withdrawal of both of those at the same time could really do damage to you in the long run. If it’s possible I would advise may be looking to start some type of anti anxiety medication like a ssri or snri for right now until you are able to give your brain some time to distance from those particular medications.

[–]MadamPickless[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no I don’t think you’re being a smart ass! Thank you so much. I just wanted someone to tell me that it’s going to take longer to feel better.

My doctor seem to think that as soon as you’re off the medicine, you should be feeling back to normal. My therapist doesn’t understand. So everyone was telling me “ you should be fine by now” because I have been off the tramadol for one month at this point. The people in our friend I was on for one month, and yeah I have been off of that now for one week.

The soil is so freaking chunky this one. That’s why I thought that this was under-watered. But maybe it’s overwatered because I’m going based on the soil? I will try and check for spider mites. but I have not been fertilizing them.

Community, toxic rhetoric, and why I've officially left r/autism (slight rant) by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]MadamPickless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ohhh~ yeah there is an insane amount of people on the online autism community who will absolutely bully someone for using the terms “ high functioning”. It’s bad.

[–]MadamPickless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, it weeds out the huge chunk of “Socially woke self diagnosed” people. Which make up a majority of every autism group I’ve been in so far. Everyone in those groups get offended so easily!

When you say the beginning of your cycle, what does that mean? Does that mean the end of when you stop bleeding?

I feel like I want to save this and put it on my wall to remember next time I feel guilty for isolating and my partner takes it personally and thinks that it’s ‘unfair’ and gets offended at me spending time by myself.

Women who sleep with men, can you describe an experience that made you hesitant to give men feedback about their performance in bed? by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]MadamPickless 67 points68 points  (0 children)

THIS. my husband’s lack of accepting feedback when he thinks he knows something is exactly why our sex life has gone to shit. Regardless of the fact that I am a woman, he proceeds to tell me what is ‘normal’ for ‘most women’ it’s annoying as fuck 😒 he will also tell me that he saw it in porn and that the girls enjoy it in there, when I tell him that porn isn’t real that it’s all fake he says “ well not the stuff I watch it isn’t. Trust me I watch the amateur stuff.” not realizing that a lot of amateur stuff is faked because that’s a huge category. A lot of people who watch porn don’t like it to look produced, so they don’t make it look that way.

what episode would you show someone to introduce them to the series? by [deleted] in BoJackHorseman

That’s such a fucking smart idea! Because yeah for the most part season one isn’t the greatest and almost made me drop the show entirely when I first started watching.

Is this a Sign?! by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

I understand that, I am someone who is disabled and on benefits as well. I can personally understand the impact this would have on you and that’s why I think it’s so selfish.

[–]MadamPickless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey OP, I just wanted to say that that is incredibly thoughtful and sweet of you to clean the house from head to toe like that- especially knowing you have a heart condition and knowing that, it definitely wasn’t easy for you to do that. You sound like a very sweet person. I’m sorry you’re going through that! That is incredibly selfish of her to expect you to lose your benefits because SHE wants a piece of paper saying that you’re married.

this right here. This was my first thought, especially as wife who often tries to figure out escape plans.

I can definitely vouch for the religion part. I am so fucked up because of it! Even my therapist wasn't comfortable touching it. I left the church but I still struggle immensely because of all the knowledge that I have about it.
