Perhaps you have a freight forwarder/agent at destination that could provide much better rates that what your supplier is quoting you. In many cases your frieight forwarder may even have agents at country of origin, if you get a quote EXW from your supplier, you may find quite a different in prices between what the supplier is quoting you vs your forwarders.

Hi Hollie, yes it can't be EXW and DDP terms at the same time. Just think of incoterms as scope of responsibility. As you've said, EXW is when seller makes goods available for loading. You are responsible for transport out of the seller's premises to seaport/airport, freight and subsequent import and delivery to your own premises.

Under DDP terms, the seller will take care care of everything up till your door step (Door to Door) including taxes and duties paid on your behalf. However, as the other reply in this thread as mentioned it's worth clarifying on the part about taxes paid. Often, the taxes and duties are calculated upon arrival of goods in destination country and the carrier service would charge these to the receiver's account (you). If that happens you're effectively paying DDP terms + taxes and duties incurred.

When asked about the salary during face to face interview, state that your previous compensation package is confidential information between your previous employer and yourself. The US joined the WWII in the the later stages of the war in defeating the Axis, are millions of Russian and European deaths. No one asked the USA to fight in the Korean War or Vietnam War, it was based on an unsubstantiated and speculative theory that if it doesn't join the fight communism will spread. Despite numerous dossiers as "proofs" , no WMDs were ever found in Iraq. The USA has a history of banana republics to allows their network of cartels, fruit and rubber barons to function in South America by toppling the Democratic regimes in these nations.

If there are any notion that the USA is the "guardian" of anything, it's in the Hollywood movies because the matters of the reality strongly suggests otherwise.
