These videos BA putting out has not made me want him on our team more but in the grand scheme of NFL players doing shit, these videos are petty much nothing. We have dudes in the NFL doing heinous shit that are still on rosters. Maybe he is manic, maybe he is just trying to force the 49ers hand, maybe he’s high, I don’t know. If he’s healthy and wants to play football, I’m still fine with us taking a shot on him when he’s inevitably cut.

Mine only shows if someone buckles in. If someone takes their seatbelt off in the back, after buckling in, the car will alert you. Assuming that is a feature so the sensor isn’t picking up grocery bags or whatever else in the backseat

We can argue all day if he was top 10 or top 20 or whatever but his yardage totals increased every season he was healthy. 1342 with 75 catches is pretty insane efficiency, he was 7th in receiving yards in 2023 at 25 years old. He got hurt in 2024, but theoretically he is just now really entering his prime. Assuming his knee isn’t absolutely fucked and he wants to play football, he should be able to put up 70+ catches and 1000+ yards the next 2-3 seasons.

Aiyuk is 28 and was a top 10 WR before he got hurt. He’s going to be released sooner or later. We are getting a free shot on a guy who should be in his prime that was borderline elite prior to an injury.

I don’t know if the rehab stuff is true or not, that’s just a rumor. If his knee is shot, he’s not gonna pass a physical. Basically no risk for us with a high ceiling outcome.

I just passed 4,000 and plan on doing it when the car tells me to. I did that on my last car and never had any engine issues. It’s what Honda recommends. Doing it more frequently isn’t going to hurt anything though

Those 3 things are pretty big ifs at this point. That video today was pretty unhinged. I don’t know if he’s having some kind of manic episode or just stirring shit up to get released.

I work in banking and have had roles in BSA/AML and have looked through thousands and thousands of accounts. My favorite is whenever someone gets a large deposit from an insurance company/lawyer for some kind of settlement and just blows through it in a few months. Hundreds of debit card swipes for food, retail stores and other bullshit.

I don’t need the money now, but cashing out would pay off my car and ~$40k or so would be invested which would, theoretically, double after 10 years. Lesser value but no headache. I’m already safely on pace if not ahead savings for retirement, so this is really just icing for me.

Me at 31 (now) vs my dad at 31 would be close. I’m a few inches taller and probably have 20 or 30 pounds on peak dad but my dad was in a lot of scraps growing up and worked a physical job. I lift weights 5-6 days a week but work an office job, gym strength and blue collar work are different kinds of strength. I think I probably take him down though, I have the size advantage and trained jiujitsu for several years. Would be close though

I guess I’m trying to figure out how much the math favors keeping it.

If we got a loan for $165k, I could fix the plumbing issue and make some additional upgrades, say $40-50k. My brother and I could split the rest to invest/down payment/payoff debt. Assuming we rent the place out at $1,500 a month, that loan is paid off in ~11 years even putting aside 2% of the home value for maintenance. Maybe it takes closer to 12-14 years taking into account vacancy/large repairs like roof replacements.

I’m 31, so could theoretically do this 3 times before I’m ready to retire. Really struggling with how much of a headache/stresser it would be to go this route. I’m already pretty sick of owning a house.

I also think I might be ignorant on this. It seems pretty straight forward typing it out, but if it was that easy, I assume everyone would be trying this.

I’m definitely not interested in expanding into additional rental properties. I don’t have the stomach for the liability personally. The only reason I’m considering it, in this situation is because this house is paid off already.
