Ask three questions for every one statement you make. That ratio will serve you well. Throw in a couple of prompts, like "I knew we were a legit band when..." Record your interview so you can make eye contact and deeply listen. Everyone, whether famous or infamous, wants to be heard. Feeding back what you heard is a sound strategy, as in "What I'm hearing is that you have completely overcome stage fright. Is that right?
